Hidan probably would be better for sasori in another way too. Sasori turns his notable victims into puppets, but if deidara gets the last hit there is barely a body to work with. Meanwhile hidan usually just pierces his heart and kills them with his curse. Although sasori if famously known for his impatience and thus would probably not wait around for hidans prayers after the kill.

Why would sasori use hidan to finish off people that got cut by him? Every single weapon from sasori that can cut (not counting the water thrower), is filled with his poison. And sasoris poison was absolutely deadly. No need for hidan to take the blood.

Honestly, you forgot another point to Sasori paired with Hidan. Theoretically, Sasori could also replace Kakuzu's threading ability. That's a very solid reason the zombie duo synergized so well. Even if Hidan got decapitated and lost control over his body, Kakuzu could thread him back together. Sasori could theoretically use chakra strings to move Hidan's head and limbs back to his body. I'd like to think Hidan doesn't necessarily need to be 'threaded' back together and his natural healing would take over once his head or limbs are placed back onto his body.

He got trapped by shikamarus traps every time and sasori has plenty of tricks up his sleeve to handle hidan who has no ninjutsu and doesnt care for his body enough while fighting he gets hit by alot of attacks. The issue I see is we don't know much about her limits with it and how strong it becomes against fire. As most of the Konoha shinobi have a way to use fire style. Water style could make the paper wet and heavy so she can't move or be more slowly. (rain is not an issue to her obviously but taking a huge bath in a water dragon or similar is another thing) And also I'm asking my self what happens if you keep her paper body splittet in halfs, sealed in any container.

Well, Orochimaru is more of a squishy regeneration fighter than anything else. Most of his big boy battles later on involve him getting ripped in half or mangled only to vomit out a new Orochimaru or reattach himself with a bunch of snakes. The main thing I could say would be his greatest ability to protect Nagano’s body is bringing out the Hokage’s to act as a screen for the both of them. Like Nick said.

But he has an entire arsenal of Jutsu that regenerate him. Hence the “squishy regeneration”. Also, yeah, it happens when he fights the 1% strongest Shinobi. It’s almost as if he is in the 1% and his job puts him in conflict with other 1%ers.

Another point for these teams: -Hidan can't kill Sasori by blood so Shikamaru's tactics will not work, also Sasori's poison can't kill Hidan, but Hidan could waste so much of Sasori's time -As an artist, Deidara couldn't care less for Kakuzu's money, also being the oldest and youngest members could have funny interactions -I think Zetsu could be a better partner for Nagato, he knows about the deal they have with Tobi, they need him alive so he would protect his body, also Zetsu's jutsu is steal and share chakra, that's useful for Nagato, and Zetsu could copy the 6 pain so you could never know who's the real one -Kisame and Konan are a weird duo, he betray his village while she defend hers, she hates Tobi, while Kisame respect him as his true Mizukage, for this, I think Kisame works better with Tobi, they work together in the past, and he is already loyal to him -Meanwhile Konan and Itachi could be a better team, more methodical, and quick, they respect each other, so maybe they will be on equal terms, Konan is good protecting others while Itachi would wait for the perfect moment to attack

Have each pair of Akatsuki have one of the Six Paths with them. Pain can supervise what everyone is doing to make sure no sus shit is going on, it adds another powerful ability to all of the team synergies and makes up for the weaknesses of each of their respective pairs, and if Yahiko and Konan just keep the Animal Path as the third member of their team then Nagato can just recall any of the Paths at any time if shit goes south.

I thought of that idea a long time ago but like... ehhh I feel like that'd throw off Nagato's focus since each of his eyes would be spread out significantly. Plus, the further a Pain is from Nagato's body, the weaker it becomes. It might even shut down if it's too far away. If he did this, itachi likely would’ve capitalized on it and killed then all separately to weaken the akatsuki and ultimately ruin their plans. They are strong together, not separated, this was made super clear during their attack on the leaf plus when Naruto and Jiraiya both isolated them in their respective fights. The biggest issue is they lose their ability to revive if they’re separated, also their shared vision will no longer help in battle. That’s a really cool idea though

honestly Sasori and Kisame might be a little better because they both have kits made for long fights. Sasori has poison which will kill you if you get cut and kisame has samehada which will take your chakra if you get cut. effectively making this duo a night mare to fight as you would have to avoid being cut by either of them and end the fight as soon as possible.

I think the bond between deidara and Kakazu could be money. Since Deidara doesn't really care about money Kakazu could make sure his bombs or art doesn't ruin his profit. On the flip side, if it doesn't give him profit, Kakazu could just let him unless his art. And with multiple hearts he could send 1 towards the opponent acting like a massive bomb with a ton of explosive clay inside. So long as it's not the lightning one though since it could stop the detonations. Mask attacks until defeated or low on chakra then kaboom.

Itachi vs Pain 1. Itachi, Naruto & Bee Vs Nagato (controlled by Kabuto) There's a huge difference. Kabuto almost forgot about Chibaku. The real Nagato wouldn't have just stood there like a puppet. Nagato has sensory to spot Kabuto for Itachi to find. He'll easily spot Itachi nearby. Plus, Itachi had to remind Kabuto that Nagato had sensory. Itachi was finished when Nagato casted Chibaku (Planetary Devastation). The real Nagato wouldn't allow Itachi's Totsuka blade to reach the core too. 2. Naruto vs Pain = Pain - Jiraiya's info - Prep time with 2 Sage clones - Needed help from Frog Sage to reverse summon Naruto's clones - Tsunade's slug advising Naruto - Pain almost made Naruto lose hope when he pinned him down until Hinata SUPER triggered him. - Minato had to reseal for Naruto, and rebuild his confidence. - Naruto gained Sage mode after being saved by Minato. - Naruto fought drained Pain after destroying the whole damn village! - On top of all of this, Pain never attacked Naruto with the intention to kill. Naruto attacked purely to kill. Naruto would've been SUPER dead if it was truly 1 vs 1. They both were taught by Jiraiya, and came from the Uzumaki clan. Pain, "You and I are sibling disciples. As students of the same master, we ought to be able to understand one another." (A joke with truth) 3. Itachi Vs Pain = Pain Ultimately, it'll come down to who has more chakra, Nagato. Pain is too much of a powerhouse for Itachi to last. Itachi is finished once his Susanoo is gone, assuming he's nearly or is out of chakra. Think about how well Nagato was able to control the Six Paths simultaneously. Even Pain's puppet uses advanced technologies greater than ours, like lasers and homing missiles. Amaterasu will do absolutely nothing because it'll get absorbed or pulled off immediately! Not to mention, Amaterasu could get absorbed with a scroll, like how Jiraiya did after Itachi and Kisame ran away from Jiraiya's jutsu. I'm sure Jiraiya taught him about it. Raikage dodged Amaterasu against Sasuke, which means it's not as fast as Sasuke's Kirin (lightning). Gaara easily pulled out Madara out of his Susanoo. That means Itachi won't be perfectly guarded. Maybe Pain could pull him out because when he pulls, I don't think anything must enter Susanoo to grab Itachi, however, a push seems different. If Itachi's Totsuka blade can't reach the core of Pain's Chibaku, then he'll get trapped inside along with Susanoo. Susanoo won't be able to move. There are questions to Tsukuyomi and Rinnegan. Personally, I don't think Tsukuyomi works against Rinnegan. Even if it did, would it only work on the dead body like when Itachi used it on Kakashi's clone, or would it link to Nagato? I doubt it'll link. Rinnegan requires Uchiha and Senju blood to activate. It is extremely rare and powerful. Why would the author make Rinnegan so LEGENDARY? The story made it clear that it was more powerful than any eye, including Mangekyō Sharingan. All that legendary talk for what? All that we know for sure is that the author, Masashi Kishimoto, stated that Pain is the strongest Akatsuki. In manga, "The strongest man in Akatsuki heads for Naruto." Some people try to curve this by stating the time when Itachi gave Naruto his power, but obviously, it was referring to Pain because he was FINALLY being revealed. Here's the ultimate question. Why didn't Itachi use Tsukuyomi right after Nagato casted Chibaku (Planetary Devastation), nor at all? Itachi knew he had infinite chakra too. He could've disable Nagato so easily with it. Itachi probably knew that it wouldn't have worked against Rinnegan. If he wasn't sure, then he would've at least tested it out because it's better than risking death or being captured. Itachi used Amaterasu multiple times, but he wouldn't even use Tsukuyomi once? It's because he never used it that answers the question about Rinnegan able to block all visual genjutsu, including Tsukuyomi. I also question about how much mental damage would Tsukuyomi do if Nagato could lie so calmly on the beach, getting a "tan" with Amaterasu. Most people would react with so much pain and dive into the water. There are so many ways this fight can last long. Pain will keep reviving. Itachi will have a tough time catching him. Nagato, aka 7th Pain, can summon the Gedo Statue that's even bigger than Choji and his dad. Even they needed help. If used right, it can hurt a lot. Itachi's Yata Mirror is strong, but it doesn't cover everything. Susanoo can only handle so much against multiple attacks simultaneously. There are ways for Pain to grab Susanoo's arm that's holding the Totsuka blade, like his lizard's tongue or other animals biting it. I guarantee Pain could even absorb away the Susanoo. Pain could use his Almighty Push hidden under the ground to blow away Susanoo while Itachi is being distracted fighting others. We all saw how much Itachi lost chakra each time he used his eye powers. Eventually, Itachi will deplete all his chakra. Pain will rip out Itachi's soul with one touch while the others attack (not all 6). Itachi can never waste his chakra against Pain. Nagato is from the Uzumaki clan, which carries the most chakra. This video explained how this fight could drag, which means it'll come down to who has more chakra. Pain wins. (6 Pains) Itachi's two eyes versus 6 Pains + 7th Pain wAll Powers. Izanagi will be useless against Chibaku because he'll just get pulled up again. It won't matter how long his Izanagi lasts. I doubt Izanagi and Izanami link all the Pains. Itachi might have to fight blind against the 7th Pain. And that's IF Itachi could figure out how to kill him without chakra. Either way, one touch is all Nagato will need to rip out Itachi's soul. Pull + Rip = dead. Or another Chibaku (Planetary Devastation) while hidden and ready to absorb powers. I understand Itachi is extremely intelligent and powerful, but Pain is just too much of a powerhouse for Itachi.

It's pretty close. Sasuke was what 6-7 when his family was murdered and Itachi joined the Akatsuki and they've been around for a long while before that. Danzo uses it in the Kage summit when Sasuke is 17 so that's 10 years. Plus Konan and Nagato are 35 when they die and they were in their late teens/early 20's when Hanzo betrayed them. So I think it works time wise and would be a cool way to explain what happened. Hanzo did seem like a decent guy and wanted the best for his village and others, trying to bring peace. But then he becomes power hungry, paranoid and resorts to dirty tactics? Something seems fishy and Danzo would definitely pull something like weaking the Rain by having them fight among themselves resulting in them being a lesser threat to the Leaf.

danzo didnt have sharingan at that point so no all he had was political war fare to use at that time claiming that his planted ninja were somehow connected to akatsuki and that they were terrorists trying to usurp his authority. and Hanzo being paranoid and terrified of losing control over his nation took him at his word cause why would his strongest ally lie? lol you would think Hanzo would call him out or at the very least plant his own spy within the akatsuki to see what its really like but nope for plots sake Hanzo had to become the bad guy so that nagato's villian arc could be justified etc

I haven't watched the video yet so maybe it gets mentioned, but I would like if the teams they were sorted into worked like *actual* teams. Like... Deidara and Sasori don't fight Gaara together. Sasori fights Sakura and Chiyo alone. Deidara fights Naruto and Kakashi alone. The only 'combo' attack I can even think of is when Tobi buries Deidara's clay mines against Sasuke. And even through out the rest of the Sasuke fight, Tobi doesn't help anymore at all past that one thing. Otherwise they just split up and get 1v1'd.

I was thinking the same thing, Deidara and Kakuzu spam atop the C2 dragon would be pretty damn OP, nagging in a lot of in-verse hypothetical wins. However, I would like to propose a thought. While, yes, Sasori using one puppet atop C2 with Deidara would not be all that good. However, what if Sasori used his Red Secret Technique: Performance of a Hundred Puppets, the Third Kazekage puppet, or hell both simultaneously atop the C2 dragon? While Deidara is relegated to a support role, not using his big techniques but instead opting to use his smallest C1 variants and his Explosive Landmines to trip up opponents and to catch them off guard. I personally think this would also be a really great combo. Edit (Finished video): Wow, Kisame and Konan work very well together! And I just realized just how OP Obito and Itachi would be. Hypothetically what if being in Itachi's Susano'o allowed Obito to phase the Susano'o? Since the two are in contact. Also, if Obito gave Itachi Fugaku"s MS, granting him a perfect Susano'o. Well what if them in together in it made it a knock-off Kikashi perfect Susano'o? Except with a Yata mirror and Totsuka blade. So it doesn't really loose any Defense or one shot capabilities compared to Kikashi's Susano'o's arsenal.

Good pairs but I have a counter argument. Keep Konan and Nagato back for obvious reasons and have the remaining Akatsuki move as 2 pairs of 4 man cells. It's already established that 4 is the optimal team number for ninjas to move with speed, stealth, and utility. They didn't blitz their targets where all the jinchurriki were captured at once, so having the additional power would have improved their success rates a lot. Even the edo tensei kage moved as a 4 man team, so there's certainly value to Akatsuki doing so.

No. you need a byakugan to see the tenketsu. you also need their ability to expel chakra from any of your tenketsu. what this means is that no medical ninja can use gentle fist, but it does mean that every single hyuga is naturally insane with medical ninjutsu. and it shows, as hinata was the first memeber of the konoha 13 to use medical ninjutsu and was good at it.

@@Jeezes718 you see, hiruzen the 3rd hokage is a master of gentle fist. gentle fist itself is just a fighting style, you don’t need to be able to block chakra points. the thing is, you can’t do it without the byakugan and the hyuga’s ability to control the chakra from their own tenketsu perfectly! if you don’t have both of those you can’t use it, meaning Sakura or any medical ninja can’t see or block tenketsu making the gentle fist just a subpar fighting style.

I think Obito(Madara Persona)and Deidara is great team,Deidara have wide destructive jutsu(seriously he’s underrated,he could flip out turtle island who is probably 8X bigger than Manda 2 that already bigger than Manda 1)with just one hit!he’s insane!and unfortunately Deidara Durability is weaak so thay meets good par with Obito who lack of wide destructive jutsu but has invincibility and also if Obito possesses his left eye it’s make this team more OP because with long range Kamui you can literally makes the other intangible(this haven’t proven in Anime or manga,but with how long range Kamui technically work it should be able to do that)

Now I want Kona and Kisame interaction, I can imagine them becoming like siblings, have fun on missions and take Ws. Also I would maybe replace one of the Zombie due with Obito. They would realise real quick that they can't kill him, plus I can see him using Kamui to help Hidan get close to the enemy, take their blood, take him away and have him safely make the ritual. For Kakuzu, I can also imagine him using Kamui to get Kakuzu lost of hearts to replace through, again, Kamui. Also Obito could protect the masks of Kakuzu with, again, Kamui. Hell, Obito would work well with many of the Akatsuki members, Deidera wouldn't have to worry about his explosions hurting Obito because they couldn't touch him and he would be a good Melee/Mid Range fighter that Deidara needs, plus he could also help him get away from danger. And he also doesn't use lightning release, so another point there. Also... Could Nagato control his six paths from a different dimension? Idk how that would work, because I remember there was a range limit, otherwise Nagato wouldn't have been that close to Konoha. But if it did work, you literally have the safest place for Nagato while Obito also supports the Six Paths. I honestly don't see much way Obito could help Sasori. The same could be said for Kasime, Orochimaru and Kona.

I dont think Hidan adds a lot to Sasori honestly In a fight against Sasori you ALREADY need to not get touched once or youre dead from poison. And poisoning the opponent is way easier than the blood ritual, so its really unnecesary In my oppinion it would be like giving Sasori an aditional puppet, and one that takes more time to kill than the others

blood ritual doesn't take as much time, he laid it out perfectly, all Hidan needs is a drop of blood and make the symbol and then stab his heart then your dead, the poison is a long term thing because that's how poison works. I don't think you understand how deadly of combo they would be Sakura would of died, Chiyo would of died, Gaara would of died, Shikamaru would of died, Kakashi would of died, etc.

Sasori could use iron sand to protect hidan during his ritual, and puppify him anytime he lost a limb or something after a fight. Considering hidan would live through it, he would also become a living puppet. Which was one of sasoris biggest goals. Also, if sasori scratched a foe in the slightest, not only could be deliver the blood to hidan, the person would get poisoned

Thing is Kisame has an insane long range ability, that giant water prison that moves with him. The damn thing engulfed an entire forest. And in all fairness to Itachi, he is NOT a support fighter and is definitely a close quarter specialists. Itachi merely gave off that impression while in Akatsuki to remain lowkey. When Juzo asked about his infiltration skills he said "I'm average"... Pretty ironic considering he was in the midst of infiltrating the most dangerous organisation to exist at the time.

I honestly think Orochimaru and Deidara would work amazingly well. Orochimaru summoning a hunder edo tensei shinobi and Deidara just putting bombs in them constantly because they can regenerate.
