I re-watched WTF and I'm in-step with Ashley's assessment of the episode. When "Whiskey Tango Foxtrot" was going into production during the summer, I think the cast, crew and writers were still saying "WTF" over Cote de Pablo leaving the show and that was likely disruptive to both the writing and cast performances during that first week. I'm expecting that the next episode, "Past, Present, and Future" where Ziva says farewell, will be a lot better. Join us Tuesday! (Link in the description) -JL-

I also think that the episode was a bit confusing but I liked it ... the promo pic of them kissing spoiled everything, that was a bad move like I now know that it is certain and I won´t be anywhere near shocked or surprised when it finally happens ... but still I am excited for next weeks episode and the episodes after that ...

I'm sooo there with you. I just couldn't connect to the whole investigtion-SecNav dying-Pearson turning good- thing. All I coud think of was 'Tony will you please for God's sake get into that plane so that we can finally see our Ziva or what?'. I mean...she's leaving in next episode...was it really too much to ask that she was vaguelly present in this one too? Seriously? Ugh.
