Hi Sam, I and my wife am so grateful to you. Your "Get Certified: Optician Review Manual" made us prepare for the ABO exam very well in the last few months. We have passed ABO last week but the interesting thing is we did not know you are Mr .Sam , written this book. Once we passed the ABO we were looking for a NCLE written by you and found you in a KZbin video. I am like wait for a second, let me grab the book and see, he looks like Mr Sam Winnegrad, I match your photo from the back cover of the book and video. We were just surprised. We both working in retail optical and have been studying ABO last two years, studied 4 books from amazon and lots of videos but finally, when I studied your book over and over we were able to catch all the math problems in a short period of time especially Ophthalmic optics domain which is 34% of the exam. Thank you so much for your contribution, we will remember you. Now we started watching your videos and preparing NCLE. You are great. Thank you

Hi Sam, I’m currently Licensed in TN, but looking to License in a state requiring both the ABOP and NCLEP. Passed ABOP a week ago and have NCLEP in a couple weeks. Your videos have been a wonderful refresher, passed NCLE in 2009 and I don’t deal with fitting CL in TN at my retail shop. These are a God send! Thank you.

I paid $250 for a series of NCLE prep videos made by an Optician who teaches/trains for NCLE/ABO, now I wish I would of just came here! Two of my friends from our college, where we also study Opticianry and are due to graduate this semester, recommended you, after passing their NCLE this month due to your videos. You really help bring around all the concepts we learn in the books and in the field in a round about way. Never stop teaching, you were born for it! Your videos are just as informative. You teach in a way that I will actually remember the material because you first explain the concept. I take my NCLE tomorrow and I have watched almost all your videos! Wish me luck. Thanks again!

Hi, Ed. Thanks for watching. Go to my KZbin channel page and find the “playlists.” Immerse yourself in the astigmatism, math, and fitting playlists. This should give you a great foundation! Couple these videos with a solid review book and you should be just fine 💪 Good luck!

great work! I have RGP corneal lenses (9.4mm), and can see much better with them than soft lenses. Biggest drawback is right now... pine pollen... nearly unbearable! You don't fill it with soft lenses, but with corneal hard lenses, have to take them out often and rinse them off. All other times of the year they beat soft lenses hands down.
