I almost laughed out loud during the exam. I watched this video 2 days before I took my NCLEX. I had never heard of laparoscopic shoulder pain until I watched this video. Guess what, I got a question talking about laparoscopic cholecystectomy and shoulder pain! If it weren't for this specific video that I watched 2 days before, I would have mistaken it for radiating MI pain. Her videos make nursing fathomable! Some ways of studying don't get to the key point. She has a wonderful way of filtering out what is not as crucial and keeping in what we need to know! I passed the NCLEX-RN in 60 questions thanks to her. (Yes, I said 60, not 75 since they changed things due to the coronavirus.) I don't know if she'll see this, but if she does, keep doing what you are doing, you're awesome! Thank you, Sarah! Everyone Stay Healthy & Stay Safe!

I'm not studying to be a nurse, I'm 70 years young and enjoy things medical, it just fascinates me. I was a medic in Vietnam back in '68 and when I think back on it now, it seems apparent that I missed my calling, lol. You do a great job with your presentations and I'm sure the future nurses who watch you are getting a tremendous benefit from your videos. I think it's so important that people take an active role in maintaining their health. I also think it's so, so important to understand how your body works, what it takes to keep it functioning at its best and, conversely, what will ultimately cause major issues. Thank you so much for putting so much energy into your work, it definitely shows. Just a quick thank you also to all the nurses who take good care of us senior citizens and good luck to all those taking their nursing exams. It's definitely hard work, but so worth it.👍

You are an angel! Thanks for your wonderful teaching. Although I've been a nurse for 16 years, I may have to retake the NCLEX to work in the US again (I am Canadian). The state I want to work in says that I have let my license expire for too long so retaking NCLEX may be my only avenue. I don't even know if I remember how to take tests any more..lol. It's nice to have a tangible learning tool (rather than just reading test questions). All that to say, you are the best!!

Hi Sara, thank you for sharing all your videos. It really helped me a lot aside from reading books and answering practice questions. I already passed my NCLEX-RN examination 4 days ago. It was a tough one. I finished all the 265 questions for 6 hours! You just really need to stay focus and pray that God will guide you in every questions. My last 5 questions were SATA and prioritization. I ended my exam smiling and thanked God for the strength during the most difficult 6 hours of my life. Again, thank you and I hope more students/nurses abroad (I'm from the Philippines) will learn from your channel. God bless! :)

Thanks Sarah! I'm going into my final semester to be an RN. Priority questions are one of the toughest for me. I actually picked shoulder pain. I didn't think of co2 causing referred pain to shoulder and like u mentioned, I figured pain med was given to decrease pain although I was thinking in back of mind maybe it ruptured. Anyway, this helped me! Thank you! I've been watching your videos through school and they are very helpful!
@RegisteredNurseRN7 жыл бұрын
You're most welcome, Laurie :) When I designed the question, I thought the shoulder pain option would definitely throw people off along with the pending appendectomy. I have one month left before the exam and I felt like cramming! Any tips about studying nclex if only a month is left? Your videos helped a lot.
@RegisteredNurseRN7 жыл бұрын
Hello Jennifer :) I think the month before the exam is the worst because I remember I kept saying to myself, "Am I doing enough?".."Am I missing something?". I suggest that you keep doing what you are doing and keep practicing questions, read rationales, and read in your review books the things you don't understand (try to do it every day even for 20 minutes, if you are super busy that day). Keep practicing questions in every area...I don't know what software you are using but most software programs let you concentrate on certain areas. Also, just keep in mind you went through nursing school and you are more prepared than you think you are. When you take the exam, it is like the information just starts flowing out of your mind. I wish you the best on it :)
@jenaimel47 жыл бұрын
