Professor D, what about a leukemia patient receiving chemo for the first time against a patient who is a new admit diagnosed with pneumonia who had a 102 fever at admission but after giving acetaminophen, fever is down to 100.0? Would you still see the pneumonia patient first?

If you had a patient that was post op from a thyroidectomy complaining of the dressing being too tight and a patient was a Na level of 119 which one would you see first. This was a test question, but my school doesn’t allow us to see our exams after a test and I wanted to know if my selection was wrong. I chose the pt with a Na level of 119
