Cooleemee Elementary

As I travel throughout the state, I always make it a point to check out the unique success stories coming out of our public schools. One such visit I recently had was at Cooleemee Elementary in Davie County. Cooleemee is in the Top 4% in North Carolina Elementary Schools for growth. A true testament to the leadership and vision set by the principal and administrators, and the effectiveness of the teachers to implement the audacious plan to focus on each individual student. Cooleemee is a prime example of what can be done at any public school if you have a strong leadership from top to bottom. #nced #ncpol
