Use alcohol on the little black rubber ring or an Emory board on it. Reason most VHS machines don't work is that ring is slipping and needs to be rougher to grab.

I sell my items for a dog rescue, so I enclose a copied thank you note that tells about our rescue. I get a lot of comments in feedback about people liking that it supports a rescue. One man sent us a check for $200 after he made a purchase on eBay. I really don't care if I get a thank you note or not. I just briefly look at it and throw it away. People are so easily butthurt these days. Don't let the snowflakes get you down, Dave. You are one of my favorite KZbinrs.
