Ten is the Language master of NCT lol He is known to speak 5 languages. Thai, Korean, Mandarin, and English fluently he can speak Japanese as well but since he doesn’t use it as much he’s not as fluent.

Ok as an avid language learner ‘completely fluent’ is an extremely strong statement. Don’t get me wrong he can function perfectly fine in each language and is objectively good especially for the level he needs to be at for his job. But ‘completely fluent’ is considered by most language learners to be at a C1-C2 level and he definitely isn’t there yet. Still huge props to him he’s very good at all of them!

@@meyu1468 Not trying to argue with you but I've read that linguists' definition of fluency in language is when a person is able to read, write and understand the language, also when it becomes automatic and natural for them to speak the language(switching of language), and Ten already reached this level in Mandarin, English, and Korean(he even knows some expressions/phrases in Chinese, Korean, and English), tho he might still have some grammar error sometimes, he's still considered as a fluent speaker, excluding japanese tho coz he only knows the basic stuffs, I just based it on what I've read so correct me if I'm wrong ^_^

About the try not the laugh challenge, I personally prefer it when you guys actually laugh freely about the video it definitely makes the video more funnier seeing people laughing. Trying not to laugh makes it kinda boring... that's just my opinion I don't know about the others

I personally think it like that too,if you make it a try not to laugh challenge it makes it boring cuz you prevent yourself from laughing freely when you really want to,and it definitely makes a good image to the video if you laugh freely. It just makes it worse if you do the "Try not to laugh" you keep pausing the video and it just makes me skip it because I wanna see your real reactions.

And what's more hilarious is that he speaks Korean and English as if he's speaking Cantonese (which has very complex, melodic intonations). He often uses signature Cantonese tones such as "neomU LOneLY" and "romantEC" that's even funnier if you actually know a bit of Cantonese and understand why he has such "mysterious" unique intonations XDD

Johnny and Mark really do have the older brother/younger brother relationship. Johnny's show "Johnny's communications center" episode (it's on NCT Daily channel) , it's often like vlog style videos or videos of him trying something (going to Ikea, trying kickboxing, making crafts etc) and Mark often tags along and acts like a little brother. It's like when the big brother asks the parents if they can do something and the parent says yes, but they have to take their overexcited brother along. xD As for Ten's english, I'd say in NCT, he has probably the 3rd best english speaker in NCT (after Johnny and Mark). He spoke english along with Thai growing up so he's pretty fluent.

for the laugh challenge thing, it would make sense to tell yall to laugh freely but the thing is, i noticed that when you *try* to hold your laugh in and *think* abt not laughing you tend to laugh even harder after holding in the laugh. another thing is that adding the "punishments" adds a little more competition but only if its smth that makes u *really* competitive. but i also like it when ppl laugh freely cuz i feel the mood w yall so its up to you honestly.

19:13 The show is called Awsaz (It’s awkward but it’s okay) basically yall know that NCT has 23 members and they are all not that close with each other so the guys that were picked to have a convo with each other later pick the next pair and Jaehyun and Jisung (the ones holding the walkie talkies picked Johnny and Jaemin and they tell them thru the talkies whst to say to each other and also do the missions cards. As of right now the show has many episodes so just watch it, it’s worth it if you wanna get a lil close with the guys

Johnny's Communication Center (JCC) is Johnny's series where gets to do fun activities with other members. Definitely worth checking out! The most recent one with Ten and Mark is one of my faves. The channel it's on, NCT Daily, also has other great content like dance practices and random challenges they do for their promotions, like the Late Night Punch Punch show and Office Final Round. NCT doesn't need to go on variety shows, they do it themselves hahaha Thanks for reacting to this haha You guys are awesome!!

We all know at this point whatever the challenge is, you're both gonna laugh and try to convince yourself or the other person why you shouldn't receive punishment because it wasn't really a laugh. Which just leaves the viewer upset because the challenge is never followed through. The only way its gonna work if you have a third person holding you two accountable or inflict the punishment. Suggestions for future challenges: the spit take laugh, where you fill your mouth with a lot of water (repeatedly) and the punishment is you get soaked (you can't swallow the water).
