"Dude, I saw a dragon and fire and death and more death" - Zii (Classic quote)

I feel like she has so many good quotes for this! lol

Haha! Fun to hear a player's perspective! I read that light/cloth armor has best magic protection, and heavy/plate armor has the best physical protection (plus a health bar boost?), but medium/leather armor is inbetween the two, without the beefy health stat from plate---so it's quite possible Zii was squishier than a mage! They might've had resistance to the fire xD

I like the Dragon design a lot. It looks great. Overall I am happy with it, as far as I can tell without having played it. The animations look very clunky though. Hopefully that just a matter of polish which comes later. Also the lighting is still off. It looks a bit cheap somehow. And the fog makes the picture so "milky" and unclear. It actually doesnt look good. I rather have a sharp image. The ground fog in other showcases was great. But fog in the air is way overused, I think. Would be awesome if there is an option on the player side to turn fog on/off.

I would imagine that fall under some kind of post processing settings. Lighting def needs to be dialed in still for sure!

You can have high end difficult boss fights deep in the open world dungeons, chances of running into other groups get lower generaly the deeper you go into dungeons so you can get those hard bosses without much threat of pvp happening mid fight however there always a small chance (atleast in games like Everquest which had open world dungeons/bosses you didnt run into to other groups all that often if you relativly deep in the dungeons. And if pvp does occur the group that gets wipped wouldnt be able to get back down there fast enough to interupt the fight again

By watching this and hearing how much she died. I realized that the healer needs two ultimate heals. One that heals all party members to full health and another one that can revive all party members who died on the battlefield at once. Then with the Archer I believe they need an arrow that can entangle the monster with a rope to hold it in place for everyone to attack it.

a rope cant hold a dragon
@blueknight87092 ай бұрын
@@MrKevlarkent of course not it only meant to hold the dragon in place for a few seconds on the ground while people are healing themselves or reposition themselves to better attack the dragon with skills that comes off cool down. In a raid like this you need something that gives you a bit of a breathing room to think. Either with a rope to hold the creature in place for a little bit or a skill with kickback that pushes melee players away from the creature.

the mana is the worst thing for me in the game. nothing is less fun than having no mana after 1 minute of fighting and having to leave and sit down for 10 seconds
@TangentsofCreation2 ай бұрын
I do wonder how much mana pots and stuff change that!
@QuickSiIver12 ай бұрын
I agree on that. In fight mana should be quite managable if you dont spam your spells mindlessly. Being forced to use like 2 Spells in 10 Seconds because you cannot afford more without going out of mana soon, is just boring in my opion and doesnt really add anothe layer of skill. And having to carry hundreds of mana potions just to fight one elite shouldnt be the solution, does it? Out of combat mana regen should be quite high like at least 2% per second (better 3-5%). Sitting around a camp fire is immersive, yes, but when you grind in an area for 3 hours and have to sit down every 5 minutes for 2 minutes it only feels like a time waste and not like good gameplay. Just my opion, would be nice to hear from other takes on that topic. :) Edit: And yes, I know that the mana costs in this showcase are not balanced and definitly subject to change. But from what i heard from Steven here and there tends to be more like a strict mana regeneration. Correct me if i am wrong.

I know it was pretty much a joke, but just to inform all the people out there that think clicking your skills in some way makes you a bad player. It doesn't mean anything. I click my skills because I hate trying to remember a million different key binds. I've pushed mythic + dungeons up to 19 by clicking my skills, lol.
@TangentsofCreation2 ай бұрын
Yes clicking is an absolutely fine way to play 🤣 Just teasing Steven for it lol
@blackdragon9712 ай бұрын
@@TangentsofCreation Yeah, I figured. I've just been classified as a bad player because of it and have always found it kind of annoying lol.

What class do you play? What's your UI set up? Are you using a lot of macros? If you're creative enough nearly anything can work I can tank and DPS fantastically on a controller with lots of macros that constantly spam. I would say 95 percent efficiency compared to optimal millisecond perfect rotation. Your RSI must be horrible, you need to keep like 80 APM of pure mouse click actions for the entirety of combat to not be playing horribly😂
@blackdragon9712 ай бұрын
@@gigamaxextra Well then I guess I do that then because I play just fine with clicking my skills. The only things i have key bind are my interrupt and what ever class I'm playing at the time with some kind of movement ability like wolf form or blink.
