That was great! One of my favorite things about this KZbin format is the discussions surrounding topics. Often times I don’t go back and read the comments of people who have listened unless it shows up in my notifications but especially since some of these were this past year, I remember most of them. I also find it interesting that I get a bit defensive of you. Lol just a little twinge, but it shows the place you have in my heart. 🙏🏼

He posted on truth social he doesn’t agree with some of it with I interpret he agrees with some of it. Anyways he’s back tracking on women’s rights in Florida because he’s knows he’s going to lose. He needs to retire.

Lee, Im wondering what part of The Heritage Foundations Project 2025 you find to be cruel and hateful?

Oh my gosh, where to begin? As a general proposition, it calls for the elimination of governmental protections against discrimination based on race, diversity, gender and sexuality, and shuts down environmental protections, as well. There go protections for blacks and browns (including a half-million ‘dreamers’), an end to equal rights for women (welcome to Handmaid’s Tale), and an end to equal rights for gays, etc. It calls for nationwide laws against reproductive healthcare, and shuts down governmental greening moves to save the planet from climate change. To enhance those cruelties, Project 2025 calls for the Dept. of Justice to eliminate their investigations into far-right hate groups and other white supremacy gangs, and directs the FBI to investigate affirmative action and other equal-rights, racial-diversity activities instead. It eliminates the Dept. of Education, crippling the public school system, and foresees an end to Social Security, Medicare, and the Affordable Care Act. Its overall purpose is to lead our democracy into an authoritarianism run by a minority. It was written at Heritage, along with many former Trump administration employees, and includes an estimated 270 points of agreement with his goals of dictatorship in mind.
