It's been a year since I've driven the ISF, and almost 2 years since driving BRP, so when I got the chance to drive the last half of the SDC event at Buttonwillow I jumped on it. I thought it would take awhile to get back up to speed, but I shook the rust off after my first few laps - I forgot how fun this thing is to drive. I'm stoked I'm finally able to record my laps in the ISF now without the camera hitting the seat halo thanks to the visor camera mount that my friend Mike designed.
I haven't touched the car all year, and have never driven on V730 so I wasn't sure what to expect. The OS Giken diff I bought for it finally came in, but I haven't had time to get it installed. I also wanted to try sub-2 at before I put it in, got pretty close!
Kumho V730
KW V3 w/ 13K/10K Swift Springs
FIGS control arms
RR Racing USRS
Koyorad Radiator
Koyorad Oil/Trans Cooler
Had to take the front lip off because it was dragging all over the track.
Clocked a couple mid to low 2'01 second laps, and when the track was pretty empty I went out and hit this 2'00.7. Still having trouble putting power down out of corner exit, really looking forward to that diff!
