in order to use hi-ougis, first, you have to have 3 styles at level 15 or higher, be after the point where Hermana is in the party, and sleep at an inn. When you sleep at an inn with 3 styles at level 15, you unlock the Innocent style for that character. Then all you do is level that style up to level 10 and equip Awakening (you get it when innocent style is at level 10).

Have 3 styles at level 15 and sleep at any inn to get innocence style. Once you get innocence style, get to level 10 to get Awakening. With the tension gauge full, press B+A

Don't judge the game because of the Hi-Ougis. And like the other guy said, the Hi-Ougis in this game are actually relevant to the plot, if you give this game a fair chance you'll see why.

Get Innocence Style, which you can only obtain by leveling three of your styles to 10. Getting Hermana is also a requirement. Once you get Innocence Style, equip it and level it to 10 to get your Hi-Ougi. Must be done for each character.

Not quite. It means the console it is played on is not capable of processing as quickly the same stuff your typical home console could do. They have to sacrifice something in order for it to be portable - power.

They are certainly different from previous Tales Hi-ougi's! No the less, they are Unique, really awesome for a DS game. Still have to see if a Tales game can beat Tales of Destiny's "Dissolution Blast Caliber"/Hi-ougi's.

If that's so, I'll refrain my judgement; still I know I'm not the first long time fan to be disappointed. (Considering I've seen basically all the known Hi-ougis in tales history and such). And it's just my belief that they shouldn't be so detached from the general style of moves in general. (Plot revalence is the only real exception)

What the heck?! This is tales, not transformers! IS this some ploy to appeal to the brainless kids. I reeks of the second coming of ToL. Sorry... but that did not impress me one bit. To me Hi-ougis are supposed to be the pinnacle of one's combat techniques, not blooming transformations, (if there was plot revelance it'd be one thing)
