maybe some of you can help educate me. many women & men who i've met who are from India say women & girls still do not have the kind of freedoms & opportunities that they should have. i also watch Indian news fairly often & hear the same thing. what are your opinions about that? i esp. would love to hear from women but men, too are welcome to respond (i watch news from all over the world, actually, since American news is not great re: reporting world affairs accurately, imho)..thank you.
