The famous American musician, song writer and owner of three Grammy Awards -- Ne-Yo has noticed the remix for his last year's possibly greatest hit -- Let Me Love You, created by Latvian producers Matthew Nagle and [Ex] da Bass. This hit still remains in charts all over the world. First international representation of the remix took place within Ne-Yo live performance in American TV show Dancing With The Stars 15.
[Ex] da Bass says: "The idea about this song's remix for me and Matthew came at the moment when it had just appeared in rotation of local radio stations. We liked it and we decided to create a version that we could include in our DJ sets. As the remix was very well welcomed in clubs, we decided to distribute it between our colleague DJs in Latvia, as well as outside Latvia. When we understood that the version becomes more and more popular we decided to take a risk and deliver it also to Ne-Yo himself. To tell the truth, we were a little bit scared, as the remix wasn't official and Ne-Yo could sue us, however completely opposite happened -- he liked our work on his song so much that he decided to use it in his concerts."
"I received a message on Facebook from Ne-Yo's choreographer and dancer Amy Allen saying that Ne-Yo's creative director Jamaica Craft would like to get in touch regarding use of the remix in American show Dancing With The Stars 15. I was quite surprised. Many sleepless nights of working in the studio followed comunicating with Jamaica and figuring out the best version for it and then the TV version of the remix for Ne-Yo's live performance was ready," Matthew Nagle continues.
Matthew Nagle reveals that at the moment the collaborate with the famous artist continues.
