I have fished there many times. I am very happy you had that calm day, but I would never take my 15 ft aluminum out there. Never.. I have seen the weather turn on a dime out there. Also you should have a little kicker.. Be safe my friend..

It's calm inside the strait. I wouldn't take that past tatoosh but in the strait there's always shelter from conditions. Looks like he's staying east of waddah which doesn't get much swells even, and he's not more than 5 minutes from being able to beach it and getting to land.
