It doesn't stop unless they get inside the box. But also, I had it pulled out from the wall. Most people will have this against the wall so it would be much more difficult to get in it while it cleans.

Can you use regular trash bags with this box or do you need to use a specific designed bag?

It’s been almost 2 weeks since you posted this and I’m really tempted to get it. This will be my first automatic litter box. I currently have a stainless steel litter box and that does a great job at eliminating odor. Would you say it holds down odors well after having it for 2 weeks now?

It's pretty high, which means a cat has to jump in and out of it which cause the litter to splatter from their paws. Do they sell an elevated stool at the front?

It is crazy loud compared to the PETKIT Pura Max 🤔 My cat is used to and prefers an open litter box, but that noise is unnecessary 😳

Can you remove the scooper thing to clean it? Some have a clip Asking because if cat has diarhea it gets stuck on the scooper part

It seems like once the bin is full that it will get all on the outside of the globe.

i was wondering the same. our current auto-litter box has a smaller hole for the waste to fall into the bin, and it gets smeared with poo if the bin is full or if a clump of poo falls on the part of the litter box that funnels into the bin (like you see at roughly 7:20 in this video).

You need to be checking the litter pan on occassion to see how full it is. If you have the app, it will alert you when it's full to empty it too :)

I noticed the waste doesn't always fall directly into the waste bag (sometimes hits the side first and then drops into the bag). Have you noticed any waste getting stuck to the sides and not falling into the waste bag at all? My boy cat is a side/wall pee-er/pooper, so his waste will never be centered on the liner to drop directlly into the waste bag. Worried waste might get stuck on the sides and then get pushed back up when the rotation returns to home position.

So far I've had no issues with this. But you need to wipe the inside down periodically or eventually it will start sticking.

I saw a similar litterbox to this one (popur) and there were complains about the liner below the litter not really being waterproof.. does the liner below the litter come out? or is it silicon? I didn't see you address it directly in the video. Thanks!!!!

I agree. I was wondering how the cleaning process is. Removing litter and cleaning the unit than putting new litter. Seems like that rubber would eventually keep in the urine smell

Great video! I backed on indiegogo. Cleaning is a concern for me. Can you post another short video of how it looks after a few days of usage without doing the cleaning?? I want to see if there are any pee leaks throughout the machine after removing the globe part

There should be a sensor that recognises when there's a cat there - the fact that it continued going with your cat's face in there doesn't feel sale to me

Many self cleaning litter boxes have the problem that the insert base is not tight at the edge and liquids runy out the side. Is that also the case with this one?

Do any of your cats dig while using the litter box? If so, is the front edge high enough to prevent litter being kicked all over the place outside the litter box?

Yes, one is really bad about it. But I've been very suprised how well the litter stays inside. Also, the mat catches most of the litter on their feet when they jump out.

If it's against the wall, it would be more difficult for them to get in the box. But if they do jump in, the box will stop until they jump out.
