I'm surprised of the absence of Chris robinson and Todd snider in the tribute album.

I met Neal while he was with Chris Robinson Brotherhood. We were leaving show in Toledo Ohio, and a guy was upset that they had only played a single set due to the heat. He was going off on the band and I stepped in and said, Damn bro...you just saw some of the greatest musicians in a spot that holds barely 100 people...these guys don't deserve your bullshit, what would it take for you to to just stop being an asshole. He said, My money back. (It was a $15 show) I took a $20 out of my pocket and handed it to him and said...Wow, you even made $20 and laughed at him. The band heard it all and sat around with us for an hour or so and just shot the shit. Neal said, LMK when you wanna come to shows, I've got you. He played several more gigs in Ohio and always had tickets at the door for my kids and I. He gave us memorabilia and had the band sign posters at each show for us. He had a way about him that was easy. He was a beautiful person and I'm happy our paths crossed.
