@@marimcge independently guitarists on tour are paying tribute to the King. You see them covering songs or playing eruption during their solo section with the stage background in red/white stripes. But nothing in the way of a Taylor Hawkins style tribute. Neil Peart hasn’t had a proper tribute either.

Well, I must say that was both a shock and a treat. I have been a huge Journey fan since around 1979. Also, I am a hard rock fan from back in the day. Some of my friends could never understand how I could be a big Journey fan and also like bands like Metallica. Well, I guess they might understand now. Thanks for sharing this!

I, too, love both bands, and I've seen them both live (Journey at JFK Stadium in 1983; Metallica at the Philadelphia Spectrum in 1986 and 1989). My musical tastes run the gamut from Sinatra to Slayer with plenty of stops in between -- both expected and unexpected. You're not alone! 🎼 🎶🎵🎷🎹🎻🎸🥁
