@Wingman-yl3qq3 жыл бұрын
@@keatonscreations I’m sorry to hear that. Homeschooling is definitely not easy and the social aspect is very important not to overlook.
@keatonscreations3 жыл бұрын
@@Wingman-yl3qq I mean don’t get me wrong, I definitely had social time. I had a best friend I hung out with nearly daily, dance classes, church youth group, etc. But it definitely doesn’t compare to being around others your own age every day and learning how to work in groups, handle conflict, etc. I ended up going to public school for high school and I didn’t know how to act in large groups, I didn’t understand what was and wasn’t acceptable, etc. I also know people that were homeschooled until they went to college and they were complete outsiders and couldn’t socialize properly with their peers and ended up totally isolated because of it. Another friend was homeschooled for religious reasons because his parents wanted to keep him from the “evils” of public school. Well he was so sheltered that once he became an adult and got a job, he didn’t understand how society even worked. His parents wanted him to be this evangelist but once he was out from under their wings, he couldn’t even function in secular settings enough to make friends, let alone to talk about Jesus. Of all the people I know that were homeschooled, ALL of us have struggled socially far more than those who went to school. I think all kids should go to school, it sets a foundation for how to function in the real world. I’m sure there are some instances where it’s beneficial, like if a kid is getting bullied at school or if they’re not getting the services they need in terms of special education, etc. But I’ve only seen homeschooling do harm, sadly

Only one man showed out. Theres a bad apple everywhere. At least they had the support to vote him out. I'm surprised they ain't screaming them white people racist for voting his corrupt ass out. Most the time theyd leave and save the hassle. About time people put their foot down and exposed these corrupt black leaders plaguing the black community. They get rich off their poverty and keeping the schools underperforming is just one step of many. Clear picture of the man the black people talk about and if theyd open their eyes theyd see this one is one of them. If theyd continue to get rid of these corrupt leaders from school to federal government then theyd be less Chicago's instead of more areas becoming Chicagos.

You force parents and students to put up with a superintendent, with a proven record of failure, and expect them to be silent? How about at least making the contract performance based? If the schools are failing, the superintendent doesn't get paid. For that matter, make all the board members have that kind of contract and see how they change their policies and politics.
