Very happy with my Zebra SC600w IV Plus flashlight. With Sony 18650 battery and shipped was $105. Tiny, built great, takes standard 18650s and super bright at 2300 lumen. Only downside is you need to find your own 18650 charger, but those are super abundant anyways.

We used the lights for about 35 minutes last night. My daughter had one and so did I. After 20 minutes she said to me the light is getting warm. After about 30 minutes I could feel the warmth. It was never hot, although the lens would be hot. There is a lot of surface on this light for it to dissipate heat. It does come with a case and I show it in this video. kzbin.info/www/bejne/h6KXhZKbntKrpNE

@dangerousfreedom49653 жыл бұрын
Did you get it mounted up?
@TexanMilitia3 жыл бұрын
@@dangerousfreedom4965 it is entirely too big for a rifle light IMO. I bought the Olite Odin (not the mini Odin) and with the way the mount is and the size of the light plus it has better battery live with the same amount of brightness and throw, the Odin is the ideal rifle light on the market and the included snap on pressure pad makes it all that much better! I absolutely love the Odin it is pure perfection IMO. The warrior M2r and M2r pro along with the warrior mini are amazing lights. I carry the warrior mini every day all day from 3am to 10pm and only need to charge it roughly once a week sometimes I make it 2 weeks without needing a charge. IMO, the M2r pro, the warrior mini and the full size Odin are the top 3 lights from Olite on the market that I know of. The warrior pro x fell way short of my expectations because of its main purpose was to be a rifle light but the design of the mount and the size of the bezel it’s way too bulky. Spend the extra 20 bucks or so on the full size Odin and I guarantee you won’t be sorry.

How long does it stay in hi mode before cutting itself down to low mode ? If this one does it like the all o lights do it’s a deal breaker for me
@WorkshopAddict4 жыл бұрын
It does need to cut to low mode, it cuts to a lower high mode. If left on, it will run on turbo for 2 mins, high for 100 mins and low for 23 mins. I could not see a huge difference when it dropped down.
@Tony-sy7ed4 жыл бұрын
All high output lights are going to step down in power. Olight is just one of the more honest companies to put that on the box. If these lights didn’t step down, think the Samsung phone exploding debacle. The light already gets too hot to hold for 30 secs of constant on high. The good thing is the lower mode will keep running at 300 lumens with zero drop in output for around 8 hours straight
@jdaniel42374 жыл бұрын
For clarification - High Mode = 2,250 lumens for 2 minutes straight, then gradually but quickly steps down to 1,000 lumens for 100 mins straight as it thermally regulates itself due to immense heat buildup. After it cools, it'll go back to high of 2,250 lumens. Low mode = 300 lumens for 8hrs. That mode is accessed through light pressing of the switch. It is not the default step down mode until after 2 mins of 2250, then 100 mins of 1,000, then 23 mins of 300 lumens.

Jeff, All Olights use the same style MCC. I do not know if the Seeker 2 Pro is a 2 amp charger, but since it is a pro, I would assume it is.
@Kornholeeoo4 жыл бұрын
WorkshopAddict I’m wondering if you can use the new 2 amp to charge other ones. I know you can use the earlier to charge the new Warrior X and Seeker 2 Pro. The L charger states that. But just curious if you can use the new 2 amp on older ones or would it hurt the battery?
@Kornholeeoo4 жыл бұрын
WorkshopAddict Ah! Just found out that the new 2 amp charger that is red underneath will charge all the other models down to the S1R Baton II and all the way up to the Javelot Pro. It has a smart sensor that detects the battery so it won’t over charge or burn up the Battery. So all you need is this one and the one marked “Special” with reverse polarity for the PL lights. That’s pretty cool and kind of ends the debate on proprietary chargers. If all you have are Olights. The new charger works with the L charger and you can even charge the Javelot Pro on the L charger too. I’m pretty stoked. They said you can also charge the new 2 amp Pro models with the old ones. It it will take longer to charge them. The did say that if you get a Javelot Pro, it’s charger is larger and will only work on it and the R50 Seeker and the LE model too as they are bigger. But again, you can charge the Javelot on the L charger. Don’t know if the R50 Seeker will fit it but I don’t have one of those. So I don’t care.

I have had great success charging olights 21700 in my nitecore chargers. The positive end on these proprietary 21700 from olight aren’t nearly as recessed into the plastic tip as other proprietary batteries, I think they did that on purpose. I think they would have needed to make the body of the light twice as thick if they went with a standard 21700 in order to have 2 modes in one tail switch. Then this light wouldn’t be able to fit in a standard 1” ring mount for a rifle and that would probably be a deal breaker for some people. It’s too big for me in that roll. But yeah the battery will charge in a smart cradle charger, as long as it has the raised tips to make proper contact.
