Great Video clip! Sorry for chiming in, I would love your thoughts. Have you heard about - Riddleagan Smart Hands Remedy (erm, check it on google should be there)? It is a smashing exclusive product for learning piano fast without the headache. Ive heard some interesting things about it and my friend Sam at very last got excellent success with it.

You make the outstanding seem so possible! Thank you so much for displaying your talent and your teaching ability to me. I greatly underestimate how far away I am to being a good jazz pianist. One thing to point out I guess to viewers would be the tonality change or key change when the "B" section goes into the Cm7 / F7 / Bb△ a ii-V-I, and even stays that way with the chord on the seventh note of the B-flat major scale, Aø, until resolving to the D7b9 where a G major tonality sounds.

Is the EXACT sheet music for what you play here available for my printing if I join? I don't want to just have your chords and lead tone, and have to learn everything slowly off your video always, then not have anything exact -to keep for the future if I just want to go up to it later and remember and play it exactly.-quickly Thanks

It's not the pale moon that excites me That thrills and delights me Oh no, it's just the nearness of you It isn't your sweet conversation That brings this sensation Oh no, it's just the nearness of you When you're in my arms And I feel you so close to me All my wildest dreams came true I need no soft lights to enchant me If you will only grant me The right to hold you ever so tight And to feel in the night The nearness of you

Wow this is a great tutorial and a really beautiful tune indeed. I normally play classical but I just couldn't resist doing this tune. I didn't like the grace notes so much but you are really right about listening to vocal versions of the tune. Even better people could try singing it, if they can play piano they can have a shot a singing will help a lot as well as listening. Thanks so much for uploading this and taking time to share with us.

I think your tutorials are terrific, however...some of the chords you use require quite a stretch. e.g., the very first chord FMaj7 covers a 10th from the root to A. My hands simply won't cover that. What suggestions do you have for people with smaller hands?

@@PianoGroove thanks for replying. Many people who offer lessons usually don't respond. I will subscribe to an annually subscription and give it a try. Quick question, how indept do you go into theory? I would like to not only play jazz, but also play other genres by ear. So having in understanding on how music work and being able to create my own music is a must. Also, are you available to answer questions for your subscribers?
