It always amazes me how good of a frontman Mark Arm was even in 1984 because it was the same year Mr EPP broke up. Its quite a dramatic change between EPP and green river. Its almost like A catapillar turning into a demon or something...it was like he went from some kid on stage making noise to Iggy Pop within the same year.

Like iggy pop arm was a musician in a bands who fronted his own band and became legendary (iggy played the drums and mark played guitar)
