Neato problem 2 it's not the batt

Also long press on starting button makes restarts. Mine, don't start (probably of bad battery and asked to turn - off and turn - on swich under dust bin. But after I did it - it wanted to charge for 2 hours (for all time) . To solve this I just press start for 5 seconds, to make it turn - off, then press shortly to turn on (it takes aprox ~ 15 seconds to turn on) and then it started and cleaning

Marlon, your neato sounds with small pause like clicking at start, my neato sounds the same. I have totally the same problem. Did you write to neato. Do you have any info about this problem? Regards

Mine won’t go out and clean, just keeps saying “press OK to continue “ , fires up, goes nowhere, beeps, “press OK to continue “, you press OK, it fires up, goes nowhere, anyway, you get it. Over and over....Neato sent repair facilities and addresses. Laser is clean, I promise!! Any ideas?

Mary did u ever find out what was the problem with your Neato Botvac Connect since mine has the same symptoms as yours?

i had the same problem with the new one i garbed a toothpick and i turned manually the laser 3 times left and 3 times right wile neato was off and all worked well because sometimes it gets stuck hope it helps .The laser is were there is the neato logo under it there is a hole that spins while neato is working turned it manually 3 times left and 3 times right

I tried the q-tip to the Lidar Turret three times to remove any possible dirt that obstructs the vision of the sensor but that did not work for me. The turret spins okay. I lift the front bumper about 2inches while keeping the back on the floor on start up and sometimes this helps it work without a glitch but it sometimes does not help it start. Neato gave me a list which includes only 2 shops in the United States that are located in Eastern part of the U.S. it’s unbelievable how Neato does not do repairs themselves. I don’t mind paying for the repairs but don’t like the idea of a third party shop

If anyone has any ideas of what repair is needed please advise? I read that it might be the Lidar motor but mine spins okay.

Can it be a stuck bumper?The bumper has only two clips on each side and under the bumper, there are 2 spring buttons can they be stuck?

first that said it was the battreyand they sent me a new one but still the same happend and i got a replacement of neato
