So you are saying that if word count is over 3000 words it's okay

At time of writing, that's OK. Unless you count the examiner being disgruntled with the extra work! But they still have to mark you fairly.

i had my ig1 exam on 6 november 2024 and it was written to not write more than 3000 words

I thought NEBOSH had a 3000 +-10% word limit on the exams?

This is mentioned in their online guidance, but it is not what it says on the exam paper currently. It's always best to follow the instructions on the exam paper.
