Nebraska Canal Fishing

Nebraska lunch clips are shorter videos filmed over my lunch break to show how sometimes quick fishing trips can pay off big and sometimes not, on todays lunch clip we will be fishing for smallmouth bass, walleye, catfish, and anything else in Nebraska canal system.

I’d be curious to try a fly/bubble in there. I mainly ff, but do enjoy fly and bubble on small lakes here in Colorado during runoff. You can fill the bubble completely with water and it’ll slowly sink to fish at depth. 6’ of 4# Fluoro from bubble to fly. I tie my own small peacock bodied Pistol Pete’s. Works for trout, bass, crappie. Really covers a lot of water.

I use fly and bubble quite a bit here mid summer when they are feeding on dragonflies it works really well

I fish all over there are lots of good lakes around Lincoln but I live further west near Lexington

We have my Tacoma and my wife is on her second 4 runner and they are the best we have ever had I was a ford ranger guy forever have had about the of them but the last one I had was a 2019 and they are not what they used to be but the Toyotas are reliable and well built I will prob drive it till I Dy
