I have one and love it! We live full time in an RV and use it on a tripod to cast things to the side wall, up close, to act like an outside TV which our model doesn’t have.

@@danialvarezaserraf nope. But I’ve used it in the late afternoon, well before dark, by having it up close against the wall of my trailer when the sun was on the other side. So it’s not entirely useless until dark but far from an ideal system for brighter circumstances.

Hey Lon -- you might want to take a look at the newer Anker Nebula Solar Projector. It's a newer portable projector from Anker. Also -- I love that you have a Game Boy Solar Striker game on your back wall. One of my favorite games as a kid growing up in the early 90s!

You can actually use the remote to run Netflix the remote has a button on it to bring up a mouse. Admittedly it is still difficult to use but it can be done.

Can you attach a usb and hdmi extenders so you can run more than one usb device and more than one hdmi device

Hi Lon. When it comes to gaming, make sure you disable all keystone correction, including manual one. It is most likely using software image manipulation to fix perspective, and therefore causing input lag. It should probably be much better with everything turned off.

Yeah I disabled the keystone correction and it was still pretty bad.

For those who are complaining about the price, I challenge you to find another device that not only uses an internal battery, but also has a decent set of speakers and all the connection points in the same price point. This unit fills a specific market segment (the camper who wants to project movies for their friends to enjoy) which doesn't have a lot of other offers.

Instead of starting at my cellphone screen, I set this up on my nightstand plug in my cell phone and some earphones and watch my shows on the ceiling

Hi friend! With what console did you tested the projector? Was it the official Nintendo NES MINI? Have you tried other consoles like Ps4, xbox one, Nintendo Switch or wii u? I saw other reviews and the projector did good with no lag. So I am confused.

We used the analogue NT mini. It works with any console with hdmi output. Most people measure lag based on how it feels, we actually measure it.

I have this projector. Got it as a gift 2 yrs ago and maybe used it 10 times. It stopped showing clear images after a year. The vendor doesn't offer any support or replacement parts for european clients, so I have to find my own repair centre and pay for the fix. Do your own cost benefit analysis, given the spicy prices and very limited in and out of warranty support.

Can you sideload any Android TV apps onto it where the remote control will work for it? They probably didn't include Android TV or Google Play store because of cost reasons, but it really seems that the cost of having Android TV as the OS would be minimal compared to the engineering of compacting everything into that little space.

If you contact nebula the will send you and update to install the google play store and you can also side load apps as well. I have this projector

Blitzwolf are a great projector brand might want to look at those. Wired 720p i got one for £63 the screen casting was not working so i get £20 refunded.

I've looked at portable projectors before and they always seem to be too dim. My ideal projector would be 2,000 lumens and full HD (to be usable as a computer monitor). It doesn't need a built in app OS, but if they are going to put something in there it needs to be the official Android TV or Roku OS. I like the form factor of the Nebula Mars II Pro though. If they could do the above specs with a 3 hour run time, and also offer a snap on battery base that doubles the battery life, it would be just about perfect.

Would be awesome, even better than some full sized projectors. I imagine the price would be astronomical though, and need to be bigger for better cooling and battery.

@@Angultra - Which seems strange to me, because we've been installing 2,000+ lumen projectors for 15 years. One would think the technology had progressed enough for that to be a base minimum. I haven't tried to calculate a battery for one though. Perhaps the battery would just be too heavy to keep it running for 3 hours.

The xiaomi mijia doesn't have horizontal keystone correction. That alone is worth the additional price in my opinion. There's a reason it's less.

DO NOT buy this projector. There's so many stories of issues with it and needing repairs and Anker only being able to fix with replacements that have also then failed and been exempt from warranty! Warning everyone now before they make the same mistake.
