BB Captain here. My crew and components were utterly annihilated through sheer firepower of your 2-3 teammates I faced against. I had no downtime, and by the time my last DC team was wiped out, it seemed my team had perished and my ship burning. It was a brutal whittling.

Chaf, positioning, and jamming. Utilize all 3 with avid use of PT and everything will either miss, or get blown up. Only thing is that one or two might get through but that’s better than 20 of a 40 sized salvo

My experience: Anything smaller than DD: when it stop moving and shooting Light and Heavy Cruiser: when it stop moving and shooting then another round or two Battleship: There's no such thing as overkill as they can repair just about everything. Shoot until they meltdown or launch life pods.
@HighscoreTriggerhappy2 жыл бұрын
From another comment: In large part, just experience in knowing what is likely to kill what. I also look for the life pods, the magic smoke, or intel's "Not Under Command" assessment.

@@HighscoreTriggerhappy I like that the game is not like "hp 0, its dead" na. In "real" there is no way knowing if they are just damaged or dead. Just like star trek, they keep taking hits but just because they dont fire back does not mean they are ded..

Excuse me, how to you group all of your fleet's weapons together into single, neat groups? This would work wonders for some of my strategies. Furthermore, can I just group the weapons of two of my ships into the same group?
@valen91624 ай бұрын
Hey an answer 2 years late. As long as they’re in a formation, all weapons should be neatly arranged if you press the shift key while giving orders. This will let you shoot EVERY IDENTICAL WEAPON at the same target the same number of times. This means if you shift click and fire five missiles from three ships, you’re actually shooting 15 missiles. You can’t select two ships to give individual fire orders to unless they’re in their own formation, so if you’re picking different fire missions to the same weapons platform type, you’ll need to manually select each ship and tell it what to shoot.

If another ship provides you data, but you are getting jammed, you can't see it. He did really well with it, like when one of the ships enemy ships overextended, he jammed the rest that were still behind and didn't have their own tracks on him. Divide and conquer. This player is insane and I'm going to copy that fleet. When I'm tired of my own "heavy cruiser + intelligence corvettes", that is.

Depending on the weapon. Beam, missile and he tend to kill pretty quickly
@Dermeister0092 жыл бұрын
@@MrIronhat Quickly is relative and i'm not talking about player performance.. i'm talking about the over all pace of the game.. you see alot of weapons hit ships.. no visual damage.. and ships soak alot of hit and never really apear or feel wounded.. and they take hit after hit after hit.. and nothing happens.. too little ships too little consequences.. the game pace is too slow is what i mean.

@@Dermeister009 Considering this is based on actual naval combat... alot of this makes sense. If anything the long period of looking for the enemy followed by just a minute or two of an actual fight before you can remotely take a breath and assess your losses makes for an exciting game even for its slower pace.

@@lordwhippleton9734 it's not the long seeking times it's the how inafective weapons seem to be.. you watch a ship eat tons of incoming fire and it's like theres not much damage effect.. and they seem to live for a long time. it makes combat redundant imo. i dunno you can sit here and argue till you're blue in the face.. but at the time i saw this video wich btw i comented this ages ago... but the game play feels slow to me.. boring.. redundant.
