Thats the only thing about NECA I don't like, their figures are very fragile. My 1/4 Captain americas leg was popped off before I took him out of the box. Luckily I was able to just snap it back on though.

Another thing Iron mans shoulder parts in the movie are even. But on this figure and Ive seen multiple reviews. The shoulder part on the one arm is set lower.

Ever find one ? You can still find them on Amazon for a little over a $130 dollars. You kinda missed the bus though, because you could have originally picked one up for a little over $100 dollars ( gave $101 with free shipping for mine ). The reason they're going up in price is because there was only 7,500 made that were distributed world wide and they're getting harder & harder to find because people are gobbling them up.

DesmondDentresti no... 100 bucks is about right for the quality of this toy. When you compare it side by side with a hot toys version 1/6 scale. You know why the smaller version from hot toys screams premium! For a 1/6 scale iron man it costs around 350 to 580. Depending on the suit. But if you want a quatre scale. It costs usually between 860 to 960 with tax included. With shipping will easily cost over 1000!

I have a similar question. You were able to get the head to tilt WAY back for the flying pose you did, I get some articulation with mine, but it won't go nearly as far back as yours. Did you have to give it some persuasion or was it pretty simple? Thanks

Bought this one, although I already own Hot Toys' Mark IV and Mark VI. It's a very nice addition to my collection - and not just because of its rather low price. Surely, it has its quality problems (paint job), but problems can even be found on Enterbay's or Hot Toys' figures. Enterbay's quality control is infamous - I had huge issues with both 1/4 Batman and Joker - and they almost did cost me five times the amount each! I just hope that there will be 1/4-figure stands available soon...

Got mine for $80 plus $10 shipping. For the size and detail I still think this is Fantastic for $90. If you want more premium paint job and accessories and like a smaller version, you can't go wrong with Hot Toys version of this. But Hot Toys has a price tag that is higher and meant for more serious collectors.

18 inch or 1/4 scale neca figure normally runs you around 100 to 130 bucks. A 1/4 scale hot toys may run you around the ballpark between 700 to 1000 bucks more! So there’s your answer!

This is on par with older Hot Toys Ironman figures. If we got 9 inch figures from NECA, I'd be all over that. I'd still buy the die cast Ironman toys but so far the Ironman toys we got from them have no diecast.
