I think of it as art, some people like collecting vases, statues, even empty wine bottles, why collect any of that I mean they don't do anything right? Atleast for myself I collect this stuff because when I eventually get these all out on display its nice to go up to your collection every once in a while and just look at them or you'll pull one down and just move the arms, put on a new accesory, in Jason's case, take off the mask and find new ways to pose them again, thats why I collect them

That axe that you have there is actually a vintage NOS TRUE TEMPER Kelly Perfect Jersey Pattern Axe used by Mrs. Voorhees - most of these axes you'll find online will have no black-painted beveled marking, you will need to add black paint to restore the black bevel. The pitch fork is an old potato 4 prong pitchfork. It's quite common to find. The machete that's in that video is an old WWII 1945 18 inch Belguim-styled Martin Machete used in Friday the 13th Part 1. The bow is a Vintage fiberglass Ben Pearson Long Bow 60 inch 30 lbs; the arrow tip used in Friday the 13th Part 1in Jack's death sequence is a Vintage Ben Pearson Switchblade Collectible Broadhead. Both are very hard to find. Finally, Mrs. Voorhee's bowie knife is an old Sabre Soligeny Monarch 171 Original Bowie Knife - you might luck in by finding them in bidding wars online.

I saw this at a store when I was little back in 2005/6 my dad pointed to the box set as well the Texas chainsaw massacre the beginning box set and said look at the Jason action figures. I got excited and wanted it, but now this thing is mad expensive I been to one website and it was $445!

I still remember going to a comic book store a couple years after this set came out and they were already selling it for 120 which I thought was way too expensive, now though I'd be happy to pay 120 to get this set again

If you can find it for a good price then I'd say go for it, this is a great set though Pamela is still a bit disappointing

This would have been a perfect box set if it had the little Jason boy attached near the mother..instead of the skeleton on the floor I think Neca messed this one up.

personally if I like the design of a character from a movie, comic or video game its cool to have a 3D model of them so you can see all the detail. I usually just collect collectible figures made from McFarlane, NECA etc but last year I bought an Iron Man figure from the movie and a Batman figure from the Dark Knight because I love the design of the costumes.

Yeah this set is major cash...it’s so awesome, but the Pamela is a little “wonky” but it’s sick even the fact NECA put Jason’s mommy in the set!!!

yeah the Pamela is a bit rough but its really the only "Ultimates" version of Pamela that we've gotten, hope we get an updated one at some point

Does anyone know who the decayed body is next to the shrine in the film? Always wondered. It is shown on the action figure set but was not mentioned. I assume as it looks like it has been there for years it must be one of the people from the 1st Friday film.

@JAROHEW35 What are you talking about? Jason's face wasn't black and burnt in Part 7. It was brown and decayed. In part 8 it didn't "change back". He was underwater for a long time and got all slimy and gross. You need to go back and watch the series again, or at least those 2 movies.

I guess some time had elapsed but yeah if you do the math it really doesn't make much sense, most fans speculate that Alice was only dreaming about the boy in the lake so Jason could have already been a late teenager by the time that Alice kills Pamela Voorhees

The good thing about NECA is that unless its the retro cloth ones in the clamshells most of the Ultimates can be taken out of the boxes without damaging them and you can put them back in, the hardest is just trying to get the accessories sometimes back in there

I'm kinda surprised to learn that this set doesn't really go for much at the moment. I guess it goes to show perhaps how less loved the first two films are compared to the rest; at least when it comes to collectors anyways. Also, intro video is still my favorite Spooky Spot intro thus far.
