So.. the loose joint might simply be due to a bad... batch.

Hi spot. Great review as always. My spider gremlin was the same way. If you look at the ab joint you can see how much space is there where the bottom half meets the top half . I looked at pictures and noticed they didnt have the space like mine did and yours as well. All you need to do is boil and pop the torso from the spider abdomen then push the torso peg all the way down into the spider abdomen. Basically the torso which has the peg attached was not fully pushed into place. When you reset it there will be no space between the ab joint ,which should now be flush together and he will be good as new with a nice tight torso. Its a very very easy boil and pop. You will be much happy you did.

shame mine had the loose torso issue, might just switch out the legs and base for the other one, atleast that torso was still stiff

Before you pour floor polish in the joint try using a hair dryer and getting the ab joint nice and warm. Give it a pinch or maybe wrap something around the joint to keep it tight. While pinching it, use cold water/put him in the freezer for 5 mins to shock the socket into holding the new shape. Should help.

wow! i preordered this figure and for the price i paid almost started regretting it because i figured with it being a gremlin, it would be tiny! spider-gremlin would be 5" tall max so im surprised to see it 10" tall! thats pretty cool! seeing as human neca figures are 7" tall, was spider gremlin taller than the human characters in the movie? i must rewatch it :D the paint detail on this is beautiful! I cant wait for it to be released in the Uk :)

I've now got the vampy She-Gremlin they just announced pre-ordered, ONE MORE figure I haven't any room to properly display right now! Oof! NECA, Marvel Legends, Mafex, etc etc should offer discounts for shelving units with every new purchase or something...
