As someone who ordered the Lab and never received it, a Refund instead of the item I ordered is a guarantee I don't order from them again. These were made to order and they took my money in March. They either they provide me with what I ordered or give me my money back and lose me as a customer. As it stands, I have Neither the Lab I paid in full for in March Nor my Money.

That’s such a shame. This is such a huge mess up that they should have instantly started trying to fix. The only option should have been trying to get more made. Expecting everyone who received extras to send them back is just delusional. I hope you get your Lab!

Thank you for sparing all of us the discussion regarding the immorality of flipping the second lab. You’re damn right I flipped it, whoever I sold it to got a better deal than I did. The address on the label had no affiliation with NECA and NECA themselves waited six weeks to send that e-mail.

The end of 2024 has had some 1/12 or 1/10 diorama controversy. First the McFarlane Joker set is a whopping $250, then Neca make this blunder with the Turtle Donny lab dio, it certainly makes for interesting talking points, hopefully we get more companies that makes dioramas for us that don’t charge the Earth or want them back if they accidentally ship them out incorrectly. 👍

Neca is a company that solely relies on collectors. They aren’t a Hasbro or Mattel that also has kids toys or games. So to threaten your only customer base is wild! Let’s hope they come to their senses and try to make this right.

Exactly, as the company it’s their job to make this right for the people who didn’t receive one. I understand asking people who received extra to send them back, but demanding it is definitely a bad look.

I am very curious to see what happens here. Apparently, according to some lawyer toy collectors you're not allowed to keep it and they are allowed to charge you. I'd love to know the truth because if this breaks any rules regarding receiving someone else's mail, this could get really sticky.

From everything I’ve seen a company sending you something classifies it as a gift and they legally cannot charge you. Otherwise any company could send unsolicited products to people and then demand payment. This is just a bad look and they handled this in just about the worst way they could. It’s okay to ask for the product back, but you cannot demand it.

False. They have no legal right to send you product you didn't order then charge you for it. This is the truth I suggest looking further into the law on this subject. Neca has no legal recourse if the people choose not to ship them back other then banning that customer from shopping with them. They dropped the ball in a very bad way and it's gonna cost them thousands. Their trying to bluff people into sending it back that's also why they tried to use the guilt trip method by mentioning other collectors not getting theirs. If they had the legal right to charge you they would. I hope this helps

As a tow truck driver i agree .. hate when people don't want to pay to get their car out ... look, you make a mistake entering your license plate at Apts or park where your not supposed to i get it ... but it's not my fault 😊
