Necessity Defense in Texas

There are certain times where it is you can do something that would normally be illegal. One of those time is if you are breaking the law to avoid a greater danger or harm. Necessity is an affirmative defense. This means that you are admitting to doing something that would normally be against the law, but you're saying that you are did it for a reason which the law allows for. It's similar to self defense, but more broad.
