So far my only real change is my heart rate is becoming a bit more stable. All of the neuro stuff like dizziness and feeling faint is still so rough. I am so happy you’re seeing something positive. ❤️

@@ItsStabilityTime remind me, did you see Dr. C or Dr. S? When I had my four month follow up Ryder was not happy that the only thing that has improved is my heart rate, and so he said that I would have to do another DMX before approving me for a second procedure.😞 I guess to see if there were at least some structural changes.

@@kimikazikola oh my gosh :( I hope he discussed that with your doctor before signing off on that. Can you confirm your doctor said that and not his assistant? My initial reaction was that the hr stabilization means the joint is stabilizing and the vagus nerve is not getting as irritated

@@ItsStabilityTimewell I asked in one of Dr.C’s live videos and he said “he probably just said that because it’s protocol”, but I asked if I could wait until 6mo out to reevaluate and see if I have any more positives. He said that was perfectly fine. So hopefully by next month I’ll be seeing some more positives. 🙏🏻

Hi- I’m a new sub to your channel- I don’t hold an atlas correction and my AO doctor sees that with patients who have issues related to jaw positioning/occlusion- whereby splint devices such as the tanner device which is a lower arch splint can work very well alongside an atlas correction and can be very effective to maintain atlas alignment for much longer periods. I’m going down this treatment path now and have spoken with many that use this splint device and some haven’t come out of atlas correction since using the splint device. Hope that helps

This is a great resource for others-I really appreciate the way you explain things. I think it’ll be helpful to many, and I’m adding it to the resource playlist on my channel. I have a question for myself: I also struggle with sensory issues, and how noise affects my balance and coordination. Is this something you’ve come across as being part of dystonia?
@ItsStabilityTime4 ай бұрын
@@RachelsCCIpath hey Rachel! I feel the same about how you explain your journey too! That’s a great question, one I’m still unpacking and learning about every day! For me, the dystonia is triggered by noise, more specifically by overwhelm in my brain. Western medicine doesn’t explain dystonia in a helpful way. I use a program from a dystonia researcher who explains dystonia as an extreme protection mechanism from trauma or stress. For me, this is what I found - physical trauma to the brain and body and spine plus chronic deep anxiety from all this loss. For me, I’ve been treating the dystonia functional neuro AND removing the noise and I calm my nervous system again ❤️🩹
@ItsStabilityTime4 ай бұрын
@@RachelsCCIpath also wanted to add that my ROM is very limited (like 15 degrees max), and this affects my proproception because my brain can’t map my world. Humans move their head up to 100 plus times a minute so it makes sense I have these dystonia and balance issues because I don’t give enough feedback to the brain and thus the auditory part of my vestibular system is over sensitive and I’ve protective ❤️🩹

How is your recovery going? I just did my telemedicine with doctor c couple days ago, He wants me to go forward with ao chiropractic, Which i've never done before, After that he wants me to go to Colorado for my in person visit to see if they'll do posteriors.Or the p I c l procedure. It's nice to finally have a diagnosis and answers. And and a treatment plan.

I cannot function in airports at this time so my partner pushes me and handles literally everything 🙏
