I’ve got a 2022 3500 drw HO, Aisin and my rear differential is a limited slip and yours likely is also. I also am an Amsoil member. The 75w-140 lsd for the rear and the 75w-90 is for the front. The Fass fuel filter system will be one of my next upgrades. Much better water separation performance. Thanks for taking time to capture your work. Much appreciated.

Those are reusable gaskets on the diffs. I can remove and replace bolts faster than waiting 30 min and changing that container twice. Rear diff isn’t that bad of a mess and I’m pretty sure banks said the stock cover is the next best option to theirs. And never mind…just watched a second video where you sold it. But for everyone else who own one, it’s reusable 😂

Get you some of that lower radiator hose , the trans. fluid isn't easy. Back of pan is covered by cross member, unbolt the trans mount and jack it up a inch and a half.

2018 Ram 3500 .. Just did my F/R diffs @ 63k but had it done about 30k already. Dealer pulled covers and resealed so I just took harbor Frt transfer pump and pumped it dry and refilled. Used Ultra1 GL5 old fluid looked clean but time too change out and neither drain plug had any debris stuck to magnet Awaiting Ravenol transfer case fluid and will change that upon arrival. Whole job equaled about 180.00 dealer wants 500.00+.

Change CCV every 30k miles or sooner. I waited for the scheduled interval and I have a oil pan that’s leaking and also a rear main seal. I currently have 225,000 miles. Docs diesel is cheap price on filters
@neckofthewoods243 ай бұрын
probably why my catch can is super clean. a new CCV keeps the turbo and everything else clean. i bet at 75k its to much.

Changed my CCV 1st time @ 62k..Ram sez 67k but at 62k it was pretty used up. Will change now every 30k its a cheap maint item

@@DavidOakes-p5k was it pulled after 70,000 miles? That’s my worry. Pull it and it falls apart or is really stuck.

@@chrissnoett3060 yeah not sure. I think they go either way. Would have to see a brand new off the floor truck to know for sure

@neckofthewoods24 Cummins started Fleetguard filters in 1987. Google search says Mopar is a rebadged Fleetguard also says it's made by Purolator.... I don't think you can go wrong with either one.

@@neckofthewoods24 Isn't any risk they're pretty much infinitely reusable as long as you don't stick a screwdriver in there. They're thick plastic not a rubber or cork like the old ones. Hose em down with brake cleaner and they'll be fine. Have had 4 new rams with no issues

True!! But I do believe in 3rd party oil analysis so if 15k they say the oil looks amazing then I guess it’s all good. I’ll be doing it soon! I’ll have 8k on it so we’ll see. Just hope the dealer used good oil.
