I forget that people today don't know the 'deep lore' of Garfield. So... Garfield loves lasagna. It's his favorite food. Binky the clown was a character on the Garfield and Friends Saturday morning cartoon. Liz was Garfield's vet and his own Jon has a crush on her. Munchie Indiana is where the creator of Garfield Jim Davis lives and where the comic strip takes place. 'I'm sorry Jon' is a line in a piece of fanart that helped start the whole 'Garfield-as-a-Lovecraftian-horror' thing. 'I'll keep you safe' is a line from LumpyTouch's Garfield Gameboy. Not a game a movie. This first boss is also a reference to this. Hope this helps!

The game looks really good. I wish they would make a turn based strategy game with the same graphics. Maybe it could be of the people on the streets surviving against the remaining enemy forces. It could be called "Gar-Type 0: Blue Mondays"
