Her killing Grandmother Viper was only briefly mentioned in her bio. _"...she embarked on a conquest of the greatest threats of ancient myth: Grandmother Viper, the invincible progenitor of all Camavoran dragons; Imago, demon of change and scourge of the Carnelian Valley; the mad demigod Nabavelicus, perpetrator of countless atrocities."_ It's not stated WHY she killed Grandmother Viper but given the other two are explicitly labelled as villainous, it MAY imply that Grandmother Viper was a threat to people as well? Who knows though. Though I will say that if Grandmother Viper was allied with Camavor, it might make sense that Nilah would be her enemy. Nilah after all comes from Kathkan, which was enemies with Camavor. The Camavoran dragons are likely seen as vicious monsters by the victims of Camavor's conquests, slaughtering the empire's enemies in droves. And Grandmother Viper, being the progenitor of them, probably doesn't have the best reputation.
