Great video. Necrovore were the line between where black and death meet, way ahead of their time. Every band you mentioned definitely carried the torch and has that influence. I’d like to add that there’s moments of Teitanblood, specifically on Seven Chalices, where I can hear some Necrovore stylings. Also, Vorum’s Current Mouth and the Repugnant demos.

Great video! Some bands I think carries that same sense of destructive chaos: Avlivad from Sweden (featuring the drummer from Gravehammer/Ensnared). So far they've only released a demo, through Invictus Productions. Great stuff. Degial, also from Sweden. Fantastic chaotic black/death/thrash. Concrete Winds from Finland. Total chaos, very violent and destructive.

Necrovore was the best underground band I ever heard. You think their demo was heavy?-their fuckin rehersals were unreal!!. John's vocals did shake the house. I just wish they would of stayed together & put out some more material. The production of their only l.p. was weak & doesn't do them justice. I was fortunate to be a teen in the 80's & see all the best bands out then. Only Slayer at villa fontana in 1984 came close. Metallica w/ cliff at cameo was a close 2nd. Carl necron Chip mayfield were my best friends & we always hung out at each other's houses listening to all the demo's we got from our fanzine "Morbid Death". We got Sepultura going in south Texas!. They thanked us on their Schizophrenia l.p. & sent us a bunch of shirts. God we saw so many bad ass shows at the Showcase!!. Those were the best times of my life!. Thanks for everything Carl.

Killer video! I think CONCRETE WINDS is definitely one of the best bands with NECROVORE worn on their sleeve. The frontman P.J. even has a NECROVORE (and PROFANATICA) tattoo! DEGIAL, OMEGAVORTEX, MALICIOUS and HEXORCIST are my other top picks! Cheers!
