I recently started using Z Man soft plastics and I'm impressed. When the little tail biters are tearing up Gulp tails I have been using Z Man and I get almost as many bites. Plus Z Man soft plastics can be rigged weedless easier than Gulp and weedless Gulp rigs never last long. A little Dr Juice or ProCure scent on the Z Man makes a difference for sure. I just got pink glow in the dark Z Man Curly TailZ and white glow with chartreuse tails to try at night. I haven't tried the actual Ned tails but I will this winter.

I use freshwater soft baits many times on saltwater and they work great, ultra lights setups normally used on this rigs makes the experience more challenging and rewarding since even fish on the lighter side caught with this setups feel like monsters.

The hula stick also works great on a light drop shot rig with a 1 or 1/0 light wire hook. Great trout bait along weed edges and a good redfish bait on oyster beds or where creeks spill out of the mangroves on a falling tide. My favorite color has been the dark green.

I’m a freshwater fisherman in Tennessee, but headed to Florida soon. Caught 3 species on the ned here yesterday and can’t see why salt species wouldn’t want some as well. Much easier than dealing with shrimp.

CA, I love using that in Pine Island on the coldest/lowest tides of the year. Fish can’t stand it just sitting in the potholes. 👍🏼

CA whats the model number for that rod? I order what I thought was the correct one and it just arrived and its a fast action. The falcon website only has one 3 power Boocu SR its the BRS-3-17 the specs look right on the site ML/M but when I got the rod my BRS-3-17 is a ML/F. Did they change blank on this model and haven't updated the site?

In that color I think it probably imitates an injured baitfish more than a shrimp

I’m going to fish this setup because nothing is more disappointing than to travel 4 hours and catch nothing. Live bait is difficult to keep alive and impossible over a three day trip. I’m on a quest to learn from the pros and save time and frustration.
