My entry has the most unique wooden roller coaster concept of all time which is a wooden suspended coaster that actually flips riders upside down two times more than Outlaw Run at Silver Dollar City. Bring it as a total of five different inversions.

Watching this contest result video I can't help but think that people really rated the entire park instead of mainly the Virginia Reel. But the Virginia Reel attraction should be the main star of the dish and the extra's are just that: extra's.

This has always been my issue with these ride focused contests as well. It feels like the main attraction for the competition takes the backseat to everything else. Lanscaping, theming, and cohesion with everything else is definitely important, but I couldn't care less that a decoration ride in the far corner doesn't look perfect. Like on 13th Place, the Virginia Reel wasn't even mentioned until 35secs in a 1min review. I usually like the theme contest reviews more for this reason. At least then it makes sense to talk about everything.

The final score is decided 50% by the coaster and 50% by the overall park. So both have to be good to get a good score from the voters
