i always knew that jennifer stone was beautiful but didn't realize HOW strikingly beautiful she is. such a precious aura about her, beautiful soul & absolutely stunning appearance. as a CCA who has worked in a level 3 nursing home & getting ready to begin my journey to upgrading to LPN, then eventually RN- i loved to learn that she ended up being a nurse. she seems from what i saw here as the perfect embodiment of what a nurse should be. trust me girl, different job- different setting but when i first started in health care i, too wanted to save everyone ... you do learn quickly how to numb yourself while somehow not losing the compassion. loved this episode...

Resonated so hard with Jennifer talking about being a Christian but not being able to find a church. And the whole after life convo, and I agree. There's not just the material world. Thoroughly enjoyed her views on healthcare/nursing, so unbelievably articulate and well-spoken. My best friend is a nurse and talks about how you're constantly abused as a nurse. It needed to be said. Loved this episode.

Thank you so much for talking about the nursing profession! I am an ICU nurse and I can really relate to this. Not a lot of people speak up on large platforms about the struggles in the nursing profession because as you said people say "we signed up for it". We did not sign up for physical, sexual, and emotional abuse from patients. We want to help people but can't do that if we are not safe or don't have the resources to do it (such as safe staffing). We need more people to speak up so we can advocate for more resources and legislation to protect nurses! Thanks!!

My native grandmother decided to stop her breast cancer treatment after 20 years, and to die at home with her family by her side, her room was just filled with religious figures as she passed. My grandfather moved to another bedroom to sleep, and took care of her in the other room. When we visited my grandma, multiple times my aunts said she talked to tias who have passed. My grandmother blessed me one night, and I knew she was gone, but....her body kept going. She seemed to go peacefully, wasted away until life gave out, but she never complained. Amazing....

This was such an amazing insight into the world of nursing. As someone who had a family member doing a long ass stay in the hospital during covid when visitors were not allowed, I will always think back to the nurses that kept them company, took care of them, and truly provided a family level of support while being so underpaid and dealing with a collapsing health care system. Thank you so much Jen and all the other nurses out there. I see you.

My boyfriend was 13 when he lost his virginity, he said that I was technically his first because he has absolutely no recollection of that event other than where/when/what happened. He doesn’t remember anything about the experience since he was so young having sex with me was basically the first time for him. When I think about it, I am so glad I stayed a virgin until I was 20. It was way more meaningful than doing it to seem “cool” or “mature”; plus seeing teen girls walk around pregnant or with a child really made me realize I already WAS the mature one. For realizing what risks I was taking..
