First off great channel with fantastic content!!! And really nicely filmed as well, that coarse is really done well. I just purchased I think this same combo in the 9imod brand I'm sure it's probably the same thing? Glad I found this video super helpful added it to my saved videos on here. I only have a chromebook so hoping I can program this thing when it comes. I've been seeing others saying the motor wires do get hot that had me somewhat worried. They are now only $60.00 shipped with the complete combo to the US with the link motor and esc so I just couldn't pass that up. I needed the outeunner for my sherpa chassis because the HW SE wouldn't fit and clear everything but my 540 can would, but the HW FOC has me spoiled lol! Anyhow thanks again for this video

@@RcDungeon cheers mate! I’m guessing the 9imod is the same. Since I filmed this I pick up a few unbranded versions off AliExpress for $35Aud, around $23Usd, just for the esc itself. I haven’t used them yet, I’m just stockpiling for later as I don’t really have a use for them at the moment! Agree too, I got spoiled with the HW Fusion, now finding it hard to use anything less than this amount of control and power!

you have to calibrate neutral position with program in the third slide, so it works correctly. Try 1480ms. I build several AM32 esc from drone esc

Pretty sure I saw a combo with 2200kv under $40 delivered. Same brands

@@Bryan_Rands since I filmed this I found and purchased a few unbranded esc without motor for $35aud (around $23usd) and then some assorted motors. I haven’t used any yet, just stock piling in case they’re never that cheap again.

I can't find anywhere to find new firmware for this. I wonder if the rhino new firmware 1.99 hex will work on this to update it. Might get some of the bugs out if so.

Does this come with instructions how to calibrate and how to install firmware on PC?

@@CrawlersCampRc it doesn’t come with any but the instructions were on the Aliexpress page I bought it from. I didn’t download any new software, just used the software I downloaded for the Rhino escape from the rctimer page. For actual programming I followed the video that Holmes Hobbies made.

@@CrawlersCampRc yep works as well as the Rhino at almost half the price. I’m thinking the price will go up like the Rhino did so I’ve got a couple of spare combos for future use!

I have one of this and dicided to flash the firmwear i atupidly asumed any am32 firmwear would work so used the homlms hobies v3 then the rhino firmweqr and now its dead lol ops Dont aupose any knows the corect firmwear for this esc the web page only shows you the program to alter seting no link to any firmwear

I just used the same Firmware that I used for the Rhino esc
