@b7 Yes and no. They stopped animating within about a year of this video going up the first time far as I remember. And did nothing but gaming video's for a long time. While Machinma might of owned BFF and Doraleous (sp?) they also put no effort into trying to make anything else. Admittedly the market was pretty dead given how much effort it took to make an animated video compared to anything else. I remember several of their live streams talking about the subject at first. But it happened to nearly every YT channel that went from being a passion project to something to make money. I can't fault them for wanting to make money but when you need to support like 5 guys off one channel it's asking a lot.

Well the problem was at the end days of battlefield 4 every time someone would make a video on which one was the best gun and show the stats why they would just Nerf it then somebody else would make the next best gun video and then they Nerfed that and then they'd make the third best gun video and then they Nerfed that It got to the point where all the good guns were nerfed and that's why still to this day it's hard to really figure out what guns/attachments are good and what's bad cause battlefield 4 now just has so many patches and nerfs because of a bunch of whiny troll call of duty players that got bored with all the crappy games that kept coming out so they swapped over to battlefield for a little while and they kept whining and hollering cuz they couldn't go around with a 78/1 kill streak and now that's pretty much why battlefield 2042 is just a badly done low rent cod knock off with a dice skin over it 🙄🤦‍♂️

Ah, I remember when this video came out (or at least, when I discovered it). I think it highlights a good bit of what I enjoy with Neebs Gaming and why I watch them quite a bit. Personality. The channel is 5 guys who like to play games. But beyond that, while they are friends, their personalities mesh together in a near-perfect way to make things continuously entertaining. They aren't afraid to snark at each other, to argue, and just to have fun with things. That, I think, is what keeps me coming back. I hope that these animations are popular enough to justify them doing more besides the new Battlefield Friends. Hopefully enough to warrant some more Doraleous and Associates!

To be honest, I got burned out on Ark and 7 days to die videos a couple years ago, I loved them at first but there's only so many times you can watch someone tame and kill dinosaurs. Even after you had a million subscribers it seemed like you were never planning on animating again. Doraleus and associates, mob squad and bf friends were some of my favorite content on KZbin, i hope there's more like them to come in the future.
