@@chriswhinery925 nah, if you do it right winning without taking damage even once is possible (although not making a single mistake is really hard, but there are people who can play some games blind from start to finish from pure memory so with enough time and practise it is very much doable) in fact you don't want to get hit even once by some of the latter boss mobs as they can quite easily oneshot you. There are some people who already have done so, although my guess is that most of em used cheats (i can't see a group of 8 players winning without even once taking damgage, then again playing with 8 really good players might make the game easier then solo would) I'll agree though that it's hard to get into and can get booring if you play alone.

@@chriswhinery925 it's all in the power ups I reckon. You need to get as many as you can to keep up with how powerful the monsters get. Playing with a bunch of mates, by night 10 we are normally stacking 30 to 40 power ups each haha.

I've never played this, but based off what I can tell. Beat strategy seems to be Step 1: Get lucky with a spawn and find a village. Step 2: only collect materials during the day and have them cooking while you fight at night. Step 3: Craft new items in the morning while the others repeat Step 1. Also finally, the spawning seems like it works by spawning the creatures close to you, but without spawning in view of anyone (kinda like your car will do in GTA5) so if they've got their back to a source of water it should limit one angle/flank the creatures can spawn from (unless they spawn in the water.)

Those caves are used for quickly finding ores and collecting rubies you need for the boat. You can use it for general mining, but it's kinda useless to mine for materials.

You should keep in mind that this game was made by a Minecraft speed runner, so I think it's made to emulate that kind of play. You always need race forward, and always trying to gather items to make better gear, even during night-time.

Dora definitely needed more buffs... You need 5 people but have 3 one for food, smithing, mining, wood cutting, and mushrooms. The regeneration buff was the most worthwhile but the weapon levels and typing definitely will probably be the main focus next time

You can't be content with day 2 gear, always be improving your weapons, tools and armor. It helps to know what order. Iron (black) > Mithril (blue) > Adamantite (green) > Obamium (purple)(it's alphabetical). It requires the previous ore type to harvest the next, put 1 person in charge of gathering ore, 1 person in charge of gathering wood, 1 person in charge of crafting. You only need to make 1 axe, 1 pickaxe. Everyone returns to base at 20:00, equip, cook, smelt WHILE YOU'RE FIGHTING.

From my experience, strafing is the best way to dodge most attacks, not so much jumping. It looks like most enemies attack in straight lines or projectiles. I've also found that the game gets a lot harder the more geared out you are. Haven't exactly tested that, but when I rushed to get the mithril, the lightning and fire guys spawned on night 3.

Biggest tip start fighting the totems around the world they spawn 3 random monsters but when defeated you get a random buff like the chest and gold from the mosters which you can buy more chest. I found it easier to get buffed up first then worry about gear cause buffs are op and you can kill most things before night 5 with a rock. lol

So I've watched a guy who plays this game on the regular and here are some tips Don't stop at steel armour... You need to upgrade your armour from iron, steel, mithtil and obamium to possibly chunkium. Weapons can be upgraded to obanuim and after that there are several "unique" that you can find or build if you find the parts. You need to open chests to get abilities and do the challange totems to also get abilities. The ones you really want are sniper scope for big damage, vampire teeth for health back from damage and crimson dagger for increased HP for every kill.

How I beat the game, is going into the chief's chest and get the spear. That spear is so overpowered its insane. First build at the boat and trade for adimantite axe and pick. Get obamium and start working on your armor set as well as building the boat. Once you have alot of powerups start getting the gardian crystals and hope bob doesnt beat your ass.

Tips: Don't upgrade too fast because once you do the enemies upgrade as well (appsro bought the mithril axe), of course given enough days they will upgrade regardless. Get the upgraded bows because I think the third tier shoots multi-shots which helps with everything except rock dudes for cc. Difficulty only affects which days the bosses spawn. Also turn off the grass makes it way easier. Thanks for the video!

The day night cycle is way too fast, and once you start using precious daylight time to finish off stragglers, revive teammates and collect your scattered items instead of amassing resources, upgrading gear and stockpiling food, you know it’s just a few cycles before you are overrun.
