A couple of other things you can do: Turn off autosave and save manually before every boss race. That way if you don't get the boss car, you can reset (they're not that hard). Also when upgrading the good car, hire yumi because she'll give you a discount on performance upgrades. One last note for PS2, you can get the 240SX on the collector's edition only. It's not a big deal though as you can easily beat whatever first boss you chose with the respective stock starting car then use the boss car.

for each car you dont win by the luck of the draw with the cards , you just wont get the sale money from them. you can still make it without winning the boss cars. if you have a lot of time on your hand try the smallest track for 500 credits. i dont remember the track name ,but there is a track you can do in about 49 seconds.

yes you need the collectors edition to use the 240sx. the collectors edition in this current time is scarcely available. but you can easily download the collectors edition from a torrent for the PC. you might be able to find the ps2 version but you would need a mod chip for your ps2. i would recommend the modbo 4.0.

i have another guide but this guide doesnt gives you 1mil it just gives you enough money to buy Tier 3 cars...first of all buy the Alfa Brera and use it until you defeat all the bosses in tier 2(its up to you if you want to customize it).then try and find a race which unlocks a car in Silverston or you could just use Drifting Time's guide to get two cars..

thats what i always do when i beat the game third time back in PS2 it really works get the Alfa Brera & dont upgrade it & then take all the bosses cars & then win alot of races on darius maps & after that sell all the bosses cars & walla 1million$

to get the boss cars easily-ish on PC, just back up your save before the boss race, then if you don't get a pink slip, just replace the save file :)

I beat Darius with RX8, Just got to tune it to max speed and Max oversteers with drift tires and with it tuned to top speed use for nos for the acceleration works much better than the other way around

Dude... It's all about the driver. I've seen people who have overtaken Darius in the Canyon Race with their Corvette.. I too have a Corvette but it took me a hundred times to DEFEAT him.. (not overtaking but running through the whole canyon twice)

aceleration and top speed. with Viper (and so propably Corvette too) it's easy to beat Darius zone. even Darius is easy. something like year ago or sth i beated him in canyon 20sec after start of canyon race :x

And a reason to get the $1,000,000 in Career, you'll need it to unlock the "Career Mogul" achievement in the game, which is part of a reward card to unlock bonus cars or parts. But the most important tip to know, DO NOT WASTE MONEY ON CAR PARTS YOU DON'T NEED. Not even other cars you don't need. You can just get a Tier 2 car for free if you can't unlock the 240SX just by winning the pink slip from the first crew leader you go after, doesn't matter if you go Tuner, Exotic, or Muscle (Even if muscle is recommended). Once you get to Silverton, Unlock a Tier 3 car early so then you won't struggle with it, including Race Nitrous (Not Street or Pro). If you run out of races to get to the $1,000,000; then you can try to win Free Roam Challenges since they give $1,000 each infinitely. If not, then you're screwed. If you can handle a Tier 2 car maxed against Tier 3 cars no problem. Let all the power be to you. Hope that helps.

@@kemosonicfan123lbp i think a tuner car is easy to beat darius, because the handling is nice. Darius zone is full of complex corners, and obstacles, with a tuner car is easy do dodge obstacles and make corners. About speedtrap you really have to get a muscle car.

MelvinatorTheBoSS Only available once you get the Collector's Edition. You don't need it if you can't get it, you can just stick with your Tier 1 car or Tier 2 Car you can get for free, make sure they're maxed out to handle the fast cars.

Sachin You can still redo the bosses if you don't get their cars. If you get the wrong ones, then reset your game without saving. DO NOT HIT CONTINUE IF YOU GOT UNLUCKY ON THE REWARD MARKERS OR IT WILL SAVE, which is not what you want. Just keep trying it until you get the pink slip for every single boss.

Upon reachin' Silverton, purchase a tier 3 car ( Corvette or Viper ) and purchase the "Race package" performance parts only. ( Hire Yumi when purchasin' performance parts ). For your crew, retain Neville, Samson and Nikki. ( As fixers both men add cash bonus to your races ).
