You can't make everyone happy. People were yelling for more tuning and so they got NFS 2015. There was Hot Pursuit from 2010 where you have supercars and no ricing at all and people didn't like it because of that.

Steve Hickstington right! I remember playing this game and on the HUD where it shows the race postions and the opponent names, I remember a couple times where some opponents would be out of the race and it would say "BUSTED" meaning they got caught over 3 times by police

Just curious, what are the specs of the machine you used to do the emulation? I've been out of the modern emulation scene for a few years now, and when I was last in it, PS2 emulation (and the other consoles you show off) was pretty crappy, but these recordings are amazing. Yea, it's getting a bit long in the tooth now, the CPU is holding it back tho. To add some more info on it I also tried it on a Core i3 2100 @3.1GHz, 8GB RAM and a Palit GTX750Ti 2GB, same results, or at least no notable difference on the same settings.

Wow, on an i3! That definitely gives me hope. I recently got access to what used to be a powerful desktop a few years back, forgot the exact specs but I know it has an i5 and a decent NVIDIA graphics card (forgot how much dedicated memory on it and which specific card, though), so I'll probably play around with it and see if I can get something running nicely like this!

I admire yur efforts as this brings back fond memories, NO i never mastered this one like the first Pursuit BUT, it's still amatuer shit...learn a course fowards backwards with all shortcuts, then learn to use a "stick" to help you round the sudden tight turns > THEN, shut off pedestrian traffic making it just you against the cops, choose the CLK GTR, choose "bumper cam" for the ultimate rush, have at it & post...

I didn't have the time to master this one but i was able to lay down a flawlessly seamless run in the first one, no crashes, no bouncing off shit, no NOTHING...all bumper cam view, thee ONLY way to play these...fond memories!!!!!
