Easily can do that to Carbon, underground 1&2 and definitely most wanted 2005 version. All it is files and changes graphics and etc. more simple then u think. I'd honestly just be happy if I could play Max Payne 3 as is on the Xbox One. But since it never sold well originally, they didn't invest the time to make it backwards compatible. But a Max Payne 1&2 remake would be awesome. Considering 2020 is the year of reboots, remasters and remakes, there's no better time than now to at least announce a retelling of the film noir lovestory. The Mafia 1 remake was apparently a side project while they were working on a new game. Could be a lot of fun for devs to just follow a preset path to get their minds off something new. And by the way… I don't understand why the original Hot Pursuit doesn't get any credit here. The REAL one, Need For Speed 3: Hot Pursuit from 1998. 22 years and people forgot about that game. Anyone remember NFS Porsche? I really stopped playing them after the original Most Wanted.

Actually it is.. -Stellar Entertainment, the one making these remasters, do Criterion games because they're familiar with them. If they made a remake of a black box game it would be horrible since they have no experience with it. -EA doesn't have licensing to the cars or music used in the game, and it isn't cheap. -The original devs aren't around anymore, they're either defunct or moved on to other stuff and aren't associated with EA or Criterion. So yes, it's actually really difficult. Keep asking for your MW 05 and Underground 2 remasters... they'll never happen.

Unlikely, remaking old NFS games like MW05 are not only need to renew all the cars' licenses and soundtracks, also have to rehire all actors and actresses to redo all the cutscenes of the older game, which it's not going to be the same.

If they can do that , there will be no issue for a studio like EA. Remake's meaning is to modernize an old game. Its always beneficial for gamers as well as studios to do that.

That's why the biggest arcade car games all support wheel, and this is why Hot Pursuit 2010 supported wheel as well. And even outside that argument, it makes no sense to remove a feature the game you are remastering had in the first place.

Using wheel is only inevitable in most realistic and hardcore simulators like GTR2 where precision is everything. A controller will do its job perfectly in every arcade and most sims. Porsche themselves respect EA for creating PU(they even made Porsche licence an exclusive for EA till 2015) and will give them licences for every single Porsche only excluding Dauer 962. There are no cutscenes aside from the opening videos when you open up the games. Licenses might be fairly easy for these games because it’s all supercars, and some American cars on the go. Not sure if the SLR McLaren were in the older titles so there’s that

I really don’t want PC to be allowed into cross play. Way too easy to mod and cheat in games. And that’s for ANY game. PC game developers, distributors and moderators really need to step their anti cheat game up

I have a glitch, when I play Online and close the game afterward, my whole progress in singleplayer gets reset back to level 1... anyone having any idea why this is? Or how to fix it?

yea i was disappointed in that too... and no free drive mode... i like 2012 NFS MW, free ride mode with any vehicle you find in single or multiplayer. only its not cross platform.

@Shadow Knight bro what? It’s about street racing. You don’t street race stock cars. 😂😂😂I mean every street racer I’ve ever met has put loads of money into their cars looks and performance. And need for speed underground and underground 2 are hands down the best need for speed’s. In my opinion and most others opinion. So I really don’t care about the games before that. I was like 10 when nfsunderground was big. That’s the need for speed I grew up on. And the fact that you can customize them was amazing. And you’re telling me being able to customize your car in a street racing game is corny? Lol what

@@joeyflvkko NFS Underground was the first i played... I played on PC and really enjoyed it too... then I did the first MW on xbox360 which was fun, then got the newer MW for PC and love it... Then got HPR for XboxOne and cant stand it. Dirt 4 is more fun.

Nice video :) but i would like to find some info about the on line. I still trying to find nfs on line similar to nfs underground 2 or midnight club. Nostalgia :) Forza horizon of course makes the job done but i would like a second one :)

To me, if you're going to ask me to buy the same game again, at least do a full proper remake (and not a remaster). People can download texture mods online at get a remake (like I did with the Dragon Age and Mass Effect games). If I had a PS4, I would've purchased the Final Fantasy 7 remake.
