That's what I said, he will do better if he doesn't rely on the shortcuts because like in AcceleRacers which taught me alot of things I know, the tarmac or groove is stickier and has better traction which also means he can increase speed more as Nolo stayed in the groove as the Swamp Realm's Track began spreading algae on the sides but it didn't cover it completely so when he upshifted, he moved faster and escaped.

Not really, the garage is different, a bunch of the areas have alot of unfamiliar things in them, the animation is way more smooth and improved and there's color change option so it's not the same thing, it keeps alot of the original aspects but it is definitely not identical.

Actually that off-road shortcut doesn't work. It appears to help but the off-road slows the car too much making you loose time. Also, the best time to boost is right after a corner, it helps you to recover your speed before the corner

To do better, I would recommend you to stick to the tarmac because traction is higher if you stay on the stickier roads, increase speed and you should save your Nitrous for when it matters the most and to help increase speed because I turn out faster especially when I use Nitrous and I accelerate more by pressing the trigger alot while boosting and it helps move faster.

I have the original, I can guarantee you might want this because there's things the one I have doesn't but the biggest pro is you can switch to your personal playlist in Audio Settings as I have my downloaded music compiled and I can listen to them all which no other game I have seem to allow but maybe it's my model of PS3, I play this because I was fine with what there is but more cars and areas is what I'm wanting, I ain't getting a new console or system yet because I have things I need to do before selling it and my last games.

I wish youtubers pinned the comments that carefully explained why this game gets remastered instead of Black Box NFS games even though this is one of the the lesser titles in terms of sales, so that would save all of us from headaches and trying to deal with comments like these. I am tired of trying to explain as well. Don't waste your time and efforts trying to tell them that those games cannot be remastered due to car and song licensing issues.
