Ok, I'm not sure where this rumors about this so called "abandoned M3 GTR" came from, but I'm going to address this. There is no BMW M3 GTR in the files and database. There is no indication of a completely different M3 GTR in the files. It's going to be just the same M3 E46 with the Most Wanted Skin. The current abandoned car at this time is a Land Rover defender with a wrap. That's it. It's the same with Eddie's R34 Skyline, it handles exactly like a normal R34 with a wrap. Keep in mind they also did the same thing with NFS 2015 deluxe edition, where they gave you a BMW M3 E46 with a skin. No performance or sound changes. So unless you can find concrete evidence of the M3 GTR's existence in the files with new engine sound, physics and model, stop believing in rumors and use it as an excuse to defend Ghost Game's poor balancing. Whether it's a real or fake M3 GTR is irrelevant when the BMW M3 E30, an old Porsche and a Volkswagen Beetle is as fast as a Koenigsegg Regera in this game.

The fanbase will rape EA if they do the same this time. There arw tons of unique wraps in the community. Adem Farron it’s just the regular E46. There’s no indication of the GTR existing in the files or anything. It’s just a livery on the GTR bodykit and that’s all. Any time they add new cars in Payback, it’s behind a paywall, which would be the case for the M3 GTR.

That's because it's not an M3 GTR. It's just a regular M3 with a cheap bodykit. The M3 GTR has a P60B40 V8 engine built specially for it, whereas the regular M3 has a fairly common S54B32 in-line engine. I'm impressed that they at least added the side exhaust as an option though. Now we just need the wheels and wing to make a convincing-ish replica.

A buddy of mine is building the M3 GTR replica. Hes converting his normal E46 M3 to the GTR widebody kit and custom 2/3 piece wheel. And yes he has plans for a BMW V8 S62B50 engine swap. A lot of the handling problems are caused by the poor translation from 299 to 399. The handling characteristics of most 299 cars were not meant to work at higher speeds, which is why they all seem heavier than the original 399 cars. The S2K and the new Civic are the only ones that I’ve noticed have decent handling after being uncapped. Don’t even bother with the Q60S because it was already a boat at 299 and it’s not any better now lol. Also that two wheeler at 7:46 hahaha EDIT: You might wanna try out the hidden “player” variant of the cop and see if you can make some use of it somehow because it’s complete dogshit.

Hey everyone! I know this car isn't as good as the MW version, but... Just go in for Speed, Acceleration and Nitrous Speed Cards when upgrading this car. Thats the closest you'll get to the actual beast. Trust me, I beat Supernova with that, and you'll outrun the Corvette cops with no problem! Just make sure that you have good nitrous and acceleration. Still can't fix the handling tho.

The main reason I don't like new NFS games is : straight road. Remember the old racing games where you should have really pull the breaks to have a successful turn?, NFS games like Underground, Most wanted,Carbon, Undercover,Prostreet. They had a lot more interesting maps,where you have sharp turns,thin streets and wide roads,a big variety of environment. And now you only have a bigass road with almost no turns,the sharpest turn you can ride at 150 mph,that's disappointing...

I just hate 4 things in nfs payback: 1: the story. Is too stupid, and cringy, it has a lot of fake bad ass moments, the characters are not intresting, they inpire no emotions. 2: the handling of the cars. The "brake to drift" or the arcade feeling, and the phisics. 3: the sounds are sooo generic and boring. 4: the police. The AI is not that good, and you loose them, just following the checkpoints, there is no traps, and there are no police tiers. I love nfs, but i think forza has made a better game in every way.

And it worked for a few years, but now its just retarded. they try to make the characters looks bad ass, and have a "family like" relationship. Just like fast and furious. but really, they just look stupid. Or look for example nfsu2, you needed skill to drift in that game, not just press a button, and the tuning was so dinamic, you could adjust the gears ratio. And the police, for example, in nfsmw 2005 or carbon, it was a true challenge, you had pursuit breackers, and had to have carefull with the spikes. Now you just follow checkpoints to finish the event. Also you are forced to drift in nfs payback because the grip is too slow. So no, nfs wasnt allways like that.

The difference is that MW05 is enjoyable, Payback to be honest really isnt. For a game that came out in 2017 is just lacks any type of spark or personality that draws you to it. Add onto the fact that the fanbase literally has to get on their knees and beg for updates and changes to get things. And that they basically screwed over Deluxe edition buyers by giving them a crap DLC and they still have to pay for the new cars.

The fact that NFS Devs have to keep putting this in every single other game to at least try and appease you guys is just sad. The NFS community has become the Sonic community: always squabbling, always critical, always upset. There will never be another good NFS in the next decade or even more, because everyone is so strung up on their kiddie Underground 2 and MW05 high horses. You guys are better than this. Help Ghost develop a good game for a new generation. Let go of the past as a whole, but remember parts that would be a welcome addition to newer games. Understand that this isn't 2002-2006 anymore. I love Carbon and Underground and all those games as much as the next guy, otherwise I wouldn't have 100% completion on them; I don't want to live the past, though, even as much fun NFS 2SE is. Be better. I know we can be better. Help the Devs be better in making new games, not recycling old ones.

For those saying"the m3 gtr is ruined"or"this car is mean't to be better than the rsr and regera",its not a gtr,its an e46,keep that in mind,it only has a bodykit that looks like the alms bodykit from 2001,there are other kits,plus even blackbox made the e46 an average-bad car in games like Prostreet and Undercover,so just stop saying its the m3 gtr when its not,just wait until the abandoned m3 comes out and we'll see if its actually a different car or an e46 that can't be customized

Please give the older NSX a try, I’ve noticed the cornering is fantastic and it doesn’t drop much speed during a drift. I haven’t fully maxed out my cards yet so my top speed can’t compete with the big 3 yet but even with that I’ve won most of my online races with it. For drift the BRZ is bananas. And for drag I’ve noticed the Fox body mustang does really well. Off-road tho nothing compares to the bug, Panamera
