I know Undercover isn't a favorite among most need for speed fans but this game will always have a special place in my heart. It was the first NFS game I ever beat as a kid and it was the one that got me into the franchise.

For me, the best part about this game is the maps. The roads has many corners and elevation on normal roads but the interstate highway, so long streched that you want to put pedal to the metal every time. The game also utilized the highway region properly, unlike NFS Carbon and Burnout Paradise. Most Wanted and Underground 2 also utilized the highway properly, although it is not very long.

Carbon was a better game and did something different with it's map, can't really complain about it just because of the "highway" lol.... Also the races in Carbon were undeniably some of the best in the series with the Canyon races.

Its the driving physics mostly, like im not even trying to use the normal brakes because it slows the car a lot and the cars itself can turn well only by using handbrake or releasing the throttle

@@ferryrichard2739 At least physics that are actually GOOD, anybody who played Undercover knows how horrible the "Heroic Driving" system feels, all the cars drive like glorified Go Karts/RC Toy cars in the road because the entire driving model is made to be SUPER EASY, you can literally not upgrade the handling of your car as you can easily steer by "letting go of the accelerator when you turn". Players like me who came from ProStreet wondered how BlackBox somehow took the franchise into one big nosedive with UC.

I know everybody talks about, nfs underground 1 & 2, and most wanted. But in the NFS series I feel like undercover and carbon very severely underrated and got alot of hate. Both of those games had amazing customization, graphics were not bad at all for the times and had some of the best sounding vehicles in my opinion. Especially muscle cars! I wish they would at least remake 4-5 different nfs games. They would make a killing!
