I like how the Mantis and Vapor kits actually look nice for the most part, meanwhile the Armageddon and Apocalypse kits added to UG2 usually look like affronts to God on most vehicles (it did give the Razor kit for the Mustang, at least).

Even in UG2 the Mantis and Vapor kits added together with the new cars look quite decent compared to their Armageddon and Apocalypse kits, the latter are always just ungodly abominations of complete and utter rice lol

I really hated that you can only choose one and after finishing the story it didn't give you the other (just like the hoods, spoilers and vinyls that Samantha gives us)

If I remember correctly, playing on hard difficultly will let you choose more options 😅😊

If you have a cheating device like Codebreaker you can get all the visual parts like how i do it

Same. It was really annoying that the Unique upgrades didn't auto-unlock at the end of the story like the rest of the upgrades. Even some AI drivers were able to do it (e.g. Todd has Vapor on his Lancer but Mantis on his Eclipse).

The designs look proper for a race car, not too flashy or riced, even for a late 90s/ early 2000s trend. Some of these look like they could be replicas or kits from that period of time, Group A cars come to mind. In fact some of these look better than some modern RB and LB kits (which were meant to look stanced).

those could legit be functional body kits with working air tunnels and aerodynamics, risers can slap whatever shit on there but a real tuners car body is functional

Evo 7, actually. But it's funny cause the Evo 8 would show up in UG2, likely replacing the Lancer ES.

@@ArbitraryOutcome No, Triela is correct, it does mimic the Evo 8. Evo 7's front bumper has rectangular vents, and no grill splitter. The shapes are slightly different, but they are very Evo 8-like.
